Aparthotel Zoku, Amsterdam

We loved the sidekicks of zoku's team. All the people were really sweet and endearing. We booked the loft they are very easy to stay in and very comfortable. The Nespresso machine was the best thing ever in the morning. We absolutely adored renting from zoku bikes and had trips around Amsterdam.

The only two things I didn't liked is that under the bed there was a sleeping mask from a previous resident and also in the refrigerator was a small box of tupperware that wasn't meant for us either.

The Loft XL is wonderful, will definitely come back

Being cashless

This was our second time staying at Zoku, this time we opted for the regular Loft as opposed to the XL one. It was still a great experience with plenty of room and storage space. The location isn't too far from the city center, about a 15 minute walk. Overall we loved our time there.

Spacious with a lot of thought into comfort

Only negative was not being able to get a table booked for first evening, in hindsight I could have done in advance.

We love that there are cooking facilities in Zoku! We get to prepare our own meal during our stays here. The hotel also situated not far from metro station and very accessible to main areas. The room is spacious and really suitable for long term stay. It comes with welcome drinks too! Awesome!

When we first checked in, we realized the shower gel is running low. We could not find it in the pantry as indicated by the front desk. I went back to inform the front desk and was told that she would inform the housekeeping team. However, it was not refilled after we came back. A little bit disappointed about it. We have to bring the soap from the kitchen in and out of the toilet. Otherwise, the stay here would be wonderful.

I loved dinner, the restaurant and bar, the atmosphere, and everything clean, neat, and modern. Loved it.

The room was brilliant, quirky but not overdone... simple and clean and fun. We LOVED the books provided! The upstairs area to work from was top class!

The apartment was well appointed and as described and in photos on Zoku website. It was super clean and compact but had everything you needed. You had cooking utensils fridge enough space for clothing a safe it was perfect. The top floor restaurant was great good food with friendly staff some of the best in Amsterdam.

the ventilation for the little kitchen was filled with dust. I was so worried that the giant dust balls would fall into the food. The olive oil provided was also a little black looking.. not sure how old it was or when was the last time it was cleaned.

The location is right outside of center of Amsterdam in more modern part of the city, they call it the Elephant, love that carácter they give to the building, to starts the lobby is situated in the top roof giving you some of the best views and a work area, a roof garden, and a restaurant that is excellent. Everything in the apartment was so organized and lots of storage and room. Great for cooking feeling like home.

The bed situation was inconvenient for me because I have a disability with my feet so it feels a little insecure to go up and down the ladder to go to the bathroom and stuff.

Room was very spacious, there was everything we needed , very clean and the interior looked nice

It requires a little walk to get to the places and a little bit pricey.

The mattress was a bit soft for my personal taste, and there was only one blanket available in the room, which we realised a bit late.

Love the concept! Design of the rooms is an inspiring example of excellent space usage. The common area is also really cool: a place to work, play and socialize. We will try to stay here next time we are in Amsterdam.

Workflow could be optimized / improved during check-out. Elevator and entrance to common areas was constrained close to 11AM.

Very clean and exactly as in pictures

Sunday 11:00 AM all the guests in the hotel waiting in every floor with all suitcases to check out. Impossible to move with 2 elevators all guests up and down whilst the staff also uses them to start cleaning the rooms. Should think about easier check put or guide the guests that not everyone needs to go up with all their suitcases just to drop off the room key. Breakfast also in till 10:00 only- so by the time we were packed and ready to go eat breakfast - was all ready done!

In the loft you can find everything you need also for a long stay

This was our latest of multiple visits and we had a good off-season offer and upgrade to an XL Loft. As usual very comfortable, very clean, very quiet, fast wifi, all the bits and pieces we needed in a studio room and spacious. Very well located to walk into the centre, supermarkets and dining quite close. We will be coming back!

I preferred the regular loft to the XL. In the XL the entrance to the bed is from the side, so if there are two of you, someone has to climb over the other. Also did not like having to order our own taxi on departure - much preferred it when the wonderful reception staff did this for us now, you use the QR code provided and have to go and fill in details on a website - my phone is too small for that - not impressed.

Stylish and comfortable bar/cafe area, good food, nice bar staff. Amenities in the apartments were good.

Nothing really

The atmosphere is excellent. Young and Vibrant. The hotel is hosting activities and it's 6th floor lobby&restaurant is incredible! The food was excellent! High quality and smart rooms.

The location is a bit far from Amsterdam center or Leidesplein, and not accessible to public transportation. There wasn't cleaning service everyday, once in 3 days. The slowest elevator ever!

Accomodations were exactly as shown in the pictures; very friendly staff and very well located. They offered us a welcome drink and we also received a discount cupon for our next stay.
