Nice location

Dormitory beds are totally exposed and have no privacy like curtains etc.

The kitchen was lovely and the staff at hotel was exceptional warm, friendly & helpful. Me & my husband fell sick for a night, the staff was really kind in helping us & making us feel comfortable. The stay is also at a 15 mins walking distance from the main street & its very easy to navigate places from around there. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere is great. Excellent location. The place is very comfortable and nicely designed. The cafe is cozy and delicious. The kitchen is very convenient to use. And there is plenty of room for everyone.

The shower with a stream that stops all the time. The bed is not comfortable. And the blanket is too thin.

No USB-C or normal socket at bed. Normal USB quite outdated! A shelf at bed level, particularly top bunk, would be great.

Great to have the lockers for safety as we were staying in the dorm room.

The weekend passed too quickly!

Good location, easily walkable from the centre and canal area. Train station is about 20 minutes but there’s a metro nearby. Nice atmosphere even when there weren’t many guests during my stay (low season). Free coffee and tea and good kitchen facilities. Staff was nice and free welcome beer :)

The door to the shower and toilet in the dorm was sliding instead of a real door. It made a little bit too much sound now and then.

First time staying in a Hostel type environment and the experience was very pleasant everyone was lovely and I had a lovely time will 100% be staying again sometime.

The room has a great view of the canal. The staff was always very friendly and it has a very good location.

The bathroom definitely needs more regular cleaning... I stayed for 3 days but by the second my back was already hurting and the bed was not very comfortable. In addition, you can hear a little noise from the pipes and from the next room, but since the buildings are somewhat old, I think it is a little difficult to control it in Amsterdam.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent and property was very comfortable. It truly felt like a second home. All the other guests too were very nice and friendly and I loved the communal feel of the place.

The showers were not very clean and the drains did not drain very well. The beds were also very creaky, which made it hard to stay quiet when getting in and out of bed and not disturbing the other guests. I do wish also that there were more privacy curtains between the beds.

Good value for money and a quiet location not too far from the main square

The only things I didn't like was the light and USB slot next to my bed didn't work plus they charge you to leave your bag after check out where as most other hostels would do this for free.

Only thing was that our room was next to the laundry room and there were washing machines going until the early hours of the morning keeping us awake. There should really be a time when the laundry machines are turned off

The vibe of the common area was incredible. I sat down with my free/complimentary drink and just enjoyed a quiet evening.

I didn’t like that the washroom was shared between men/women.

The staff is superb, they make you feel very welcome and help you with whatever you need. The place is cute, comfy and nicely decorated. One thing I appreciate a lot is that the bathrooms are very clean, spacious and practical, with many showers available, each one of them with a little dressing area. Other than that, the hostel is well located; neither super close nor super far from the center, which is great if you want a quiet place to sleep in.

The lockers in the rooms are very small. You get no electric socket next to your bed but a usb socket instead, which may not charge your phone properly. If you check in after 10pm, you will be charged a €10 fee.

The entire hostel has a relaxing, creative atmosphere. Snow-white bed with a warm blanket, very tasty cakes in the bar, easy to leave things before and after your stay if necessary.

Great location and the vibe of the stuff.

It would be great if the hostel sold the lockers for guests that forgot to bring their own

Common areas, it’s good being able to prepare food, staff are very friendly.

Too many people in one room, no partitions between beds, so if one turn their bedside light on, it makes the whole room bright.

Cozy atmosphere, nice view, free welcome drink at the bar.

No real complaints really everything was ok, but it was quite expensive for the price (the room was nice but very basic).
