Gorgeous room, perfect location, stylish

We had horrible service at the lobby bar twice. It was noisy in our room at times. While we stayed in one of their nicest biggy rooms, it was on the ground floor so views of the canal weren’t as good as expected and people could easily see in our room.

Although the staff were friendly, the service in the bar and cafe was incredibly slow, despite lots of waiters hanging around !

I stayed for 2 nights and the bar is open to the public so i anoyingly could not ever get a seat or dirnk in my hotel bar

Room was great. Interior 1st floor location was not.

The vibe and location. In the heart of the nine streets for shopping and cool cafes.

They want to charge you for cleaning the room during your stay. I found that rather odd.

Great location and lovely layout. I’ve stayed here several times and will again.

The hotel takes itself a little bit seriously and sometimes the service can be a bit slow.

Beautiful and classy interior. Great location. Good view from the rooms with a view.

Lacked a lot of facilities, rooms didn’t have any storage, there was never enough water supplied, bathroom didn’t have enough space to hold a toiletry kit anywhere. No deal breakers but would have been more comfortable if there was a bit more practicality. The rooms with canal views had a beautiful view but the windows don’t open properly, just a few inches to let a bit of air in.

Lovely atmosphere hotel which was clean and modern with friendly staff. Bedroom was bigger than expected and the bed was significantly bigger than advertised.

The poached eggs at breakfast were hard. Everything else from our stay was fantastic.

Great room! the level of cleanliness and the comfortable bedding were good as well. The hotel's location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions. However, what truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional service provided by the staff, particularly the front desk attendant named Mariana and her colleague. They went above and beyond what we needed. Our experience In Amsterdam wouldn’t been the same without their help.

Staff were outstanding; room was functional, but small. Food in restaurant was very good and also convenient.

Cool as hell

The design and attention to details was perfect! The simple yet lovely breakfast was ideal and the location just perfect!

The reception was a bit unclear about the payment options and was a bit confusing to me and since young people are working they seem to care not really about your situation.

We didn't have the breakfast included but room service was very quick compared to most hotels. The building was very nice and quirky and the room itself was quite spacious. Perfect for a couple.

It was impossible to add our teenager to the booking - even though I felt the room was very large, we couldn't have another person in it. It is not as family friendly as some hotels, but it is still very nice for a couple or single person travelling.

Great location between two beautiful canals. I like the lively bar and restaurant, great for dinner even if travelling alone. The canal-view rooms are charming and very comfortable

The location was brilliant. Close to all the best bars, restaurants and boutiques that I wanted to check out whilst in town for business. The building has so much character even though it has modern upgrades. Loved it.

A little more stairs than expected. But that’s not an issue for me.

Just far enough from train that dragging luggage is a wee bit of an endeavor. Unique but pricey.

Location was great. 20-25 min walk to canal cruise, Heineken Experience, and the Van Gogh Museum. 7 min walk to Anne Frank house. Felt very safe walking in Amsterdam. We did take a cab from the Centraal train station.

Clean, phenomenal location, quiet, friendly/helpful staff. Room was perfect size. Will come back.

It is a lovely hotel with a great offering; I'll definitely consider it in other cities too.

The pictures and descriptions on the website for the rooms could have been a bit better, but the rooms themselves were lovely.
