Aparthotel Live in Athens

Location - very central. Felt secure and there was no isssue with C/I. Lovely that they gave you complimentary earplugs in case the noise from the tavern/street outside is troublesome.

Nothing exceptional in terms of facilities/ lack of windows (that you can open for fresh air - not just light) can be a bit dissapointing but it was fine in the end.

Excellent location with lots of bars, restaurants, cafes, etc right on the doorstep and all around. It is also very easy to walk to the majority of the tourist attractions in the city centre. The staff were all amazing, from checking in information, to being on hand for information. I also left some items in the room by accident and the staff helped me get the back with no problem at all.

The room we had wasn't in any of the pictures on the website and we felt misled by the layout/facilities, and the fact that we didn't have a balcony/terrace, despite several being shown on the booking page. The kitchenette facilities also weren't up to the standard we were expecting from the photos.

Amazing location if you want to be in the middle of the Psyrri area

The apartment was near a square and easy to walk to places to eat, historical sites and laundry.

The apartment was above a very busy street with much music, singing and talking. The shower was too small and it was difficult to maneuver within the space. The balcony for the apartment was small and not easy to sit on, nor was there a view to look at. The shared roof terrace could be more user friendly - it seemed a bit run down.

Central location, close to Monastiraki and the Acropolis. Great apartment, well-equipped. Staff are great, and communication was superb.

It can get noisy on weekends because of the neighbourhood (Psyrri) but I had no trouble getting to sleep. They provided earplugs but I didn't need them.

Fun, lively location, but be prepared for late night noise from the restaurants/bars below. Ear plugs provided, which did the trick to allow us to sleep through it. But, especially if this is your scene, fantastic location for staying up and out late! Great little rooftop seating with peak of the Acropolis! Rental agency located just below the unit next door and staff is super friendly and accommodating. Great convenient location with walking to great shopping and tourist locations. Highly recommend checking out the open air, rooftop production of “Medea and Other Friends I Made In Athens” - live performance with ancient greek drama context + back drop of the Acropolis!

Superb location right in central Psyrri. Beautiful small balcony just off the apartment which we spent a lot of time on, then the large rooftop balcony which we didn’t spend much time on as it was very sunny! Easy to get keys on arrival, no need to call anyone.

The cowbell! 😩 Because the location is so fantastic, right in the center of the action, the band below plays their music until 2 or 3 in the morning, every night (not just weekends). It was so loud it was comical. But they provide earplugs and do warn you. One of our roller shutters didn’t work which exacerbated the problem. The beds were not super comfortable: not sure if it was a waterproof mattress protector maybe but I found myself quite hot most nights even with the AC on.

The location was in the midst of a vibrant neighborhood full of bars and restaurants. We loved being in the middle of it all, and loved hearing the energy of the going-out crowds as it lulled us to sleep. But that won't be for everyone. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The photos make it look far more high end than it is, instead it's a bit more geared toward the budget traveler or the long stay traveler. So it was perfect for us.

The photos make the apartment look a lot more high end than it is. It is super clean, and has all the tools and furniture you need, but everything is definitely more basic than the photos look. The roof terrace is lovely. But the hot water heater is located on the terrace and when it kicks in, it is loud. We booked the apartment for 3 nights, but were surprised that there were only 2 rolls of toilet paper provided. It seems a bit skimpy to expect short-stay guests to stock up on that.

The location of the apartment was the only reason I really booked it.

The complete lack of human presence, for any assistance of a human they would charge you extra, a small problem in the bathroom when you have a shower it tends to flood the floor.

Andreas was super helpful even before we got to the property which was much appreciated. Loved the central location in Psyrri. Great base to see Athens and meet up with our family.

The location of the apartment is amazing. Vassillis is helpful and very available. The apartment is well equipped.

The bathroom is quite old. If you come to do some parties in bars and restaurants, the apartment is perfect for you. However if you are expected a calm apartment, you can be disappointed as there are many bars and restaurants close to the apartment. Vassillis will probably propose you another location :-).

Very clean flat with two balconies and one roof top with view to the a Acropolis. Unfortunately a little but noisy because of it's location within psirri which is full of bars, restaurants and nice cafes :) however we really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing location, within walking distance of everything you want and need in Athens Fully equipped kitchen with anything you would need, though we never used anything Good working AC in both rooms with no funky smells Good communication with hosts. Even with the downsides, I would come again.

Noise is unbearable. Bars are open til 3 in the morning. The windows are not double glazed, nor are they soundproof. Parking was a nightmare, so better figure that out before you get here. Old furniture all around. The couch in particular looks as it's had a tough life. The terrace on the rooftop hasn't been properly cleaned in ages and the stairs leading to it are small and narrow, not a nice descent after a few drinks on the terrace. Small balcony but usable overall The AC from the apartment above leaks onto this balcony creating puddles.

The location is perfect! The staff is extremely kind and polite and can help you everything you need. The room was clean and there are everything you need.

The place is nice and clean and has a friendly, warm and positive atmosphere. It is located in a lifely area. They offer ear plugs as well, so in case someone is sensitive to sounds, there is a solution. But although the area is lifely there is not really noise. The staff is extremely gentle.

Really, nothing to complain.

Me and my friends had an excellent experience with Live in Athens! Their team was very supportive and always ready to help us. From answering questions about our accommodation to giving advice on where to eat and drink while in Athens, we knew we could count on them. Our room was very cozy and super clean (the bathroom amenities like shampoo and soap smell really great hahaha bonus point for that), with awesome location. Wifi was working really well. We will def. reach out to them once we get back to Athens! Super recommended.
