Hotel Electra Metropolis, Athens

Lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were very spacious and clean. The restaurant on the 10th floor had a stunning view of the Acropolis. We had a great stay and this will now be our go to hotel whenever we are in Athens.

Location of the hotel, staff, cleanliness of the room, beds - all this was very good. A long (along two sides of the room) balcony, with the Acropolis view was a great advantage. In spite of the location of the hotel in the very center of the city it was very silent during the night (we were on the 9th floor). Breakfasts were wery good and the view from the restaurant, located on the top floor, was great. The hotel has no garage but we were able to keep the car in the sister hotel about 200m away.

The room was to be 48 sqm and was much smaller. WiFi was not encrypted, which makes its use problematic from the security point of view for other purposes than browsing the internet.

Great location and great rooftop bar/ restaurant

The room was not perfectly clean; there was dirt below the carpets. There are small things missing to consider this a 5 star hotel. Breakfast offered wide variety but not of best quality.

Clean room. Nice breakfast. Unbeatable view. Near syntagma and plaka, tourists will love it.

The main reason for our booking was the indoor pool. Attention it is a adult only, so you cannot swim with your family after a long day in the city.

we were very close to the next building. from our window only saw the next building. We have a feeling that the porter "made a deal" with a taxi driver - the driver took us 15 euros for a travel that we paid 5.30 euros on the way back, after midnight....

Location is superb. With very nice food and beautiful view of the Acropolis, it was an amazing experience to have dinner on the roof.

Overall cleanliness was ok. Bathrooms need a uplift for the matter hotel claims to be a 5 -star. Water drainage was not perfect and water came out through the bottom joint between floor and glass. Another thing the hotel must improve is on sustainability. They claim to be plastic free and hence provide water in Tetra Pak Carton bottle. This is not sustainable. It will be better if water is provided in glass bottles. Tetrapak cartons always have a very fine layer of plastic foil to protect carton from absorbing liquid.

Staff was extremely attentive and friendly, quality of room and furnishings was very good, breakfast was substantial and good quality, roof terrace had beautiful views, location was central.

Almost everything you'll expect from a 5 star hotel. From a simple sweet welcome greetings and assisting with all your luggage, to a luxurious room with a comfy bed and plenty of pillows to choose from, with a spacious bathroom too! Be amazed with the perfect view of the Acropolis Hill while having breakfast at the restaurant on the 10th floor of the hotel.

Not being able to swim at the indoor pool due to the on going refurbishment during our stay.

The service, cleanliness, location, view is stunning overlooking Acropolis. The response of providing a coffee machine to our room, after requesting it through online evaluation. A sign and action of a company focus in providing personalized service and making our stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. looking forward in returning back.

When i made the reservation i asked for double bed and got twin bed When i made the reservation it wasnt written that the spa the heated pool and sauna is in renovation

Staff were friendly and extremely helpful with directions and recommendations for our short stay. The rooftop restaurant has good food and superb view.

The gym is under reconstruction and thus small and you can't go without an appointment and I was unable to get an "appointment" when I needed one

The view of our room was the main street next to hotel and about 20 meter away from the windows of the front building! The view was awful!
