Clean bathrooms and AC

The room looked quite dark and old, especially the beds. I expected the place to look a bit more modern/cared for/welcoming. Kinda gloomy room. The workers at the hostel didn’t organize any events for people in the hostel to meet/party. Yet it was written on Lub D website that it’s a social hostel, it’s not. For me it was disappointing. They didn’t have much recommendations on what to visit in Bangkok…

The location

No fridge, no laundry service

staff was really nice (they gave me an umbrella when it was raining outside)

Aircondition in the room was really cold (but we were able to make it warmer)

Very safe with a nice vibe and good location.

Dorm rooms weren't great value for money in terms of space and comfort.

Great facilities for a hostel. The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, body wash, que tips, hairdryer and more! Staff are friendly and helpful.

The rooms are somewhat run down. In need of a renovation.

It’s good to see Lub d. back again! great location, great staff.

The room is humid as always. Tuk tuk outside Rama I at night sometimes are very loud.

staff were very friendly and helpful, the common rooms, bathrooms, and dorm were all clean, and the atmosphere was cheerful, colorful, with quieter places to get work done. mattresses were very comfy too :)

Very clean and tidy. The toilet was always clean. The bed is comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We just thought would be closer to the city centre but the train station is one minute away and it does help a lot. Would recommended it for sure! ☺️

this is my second time here and there's a reason why I returned. it's central to everything, affordable and really decent for the price you pay

slight musty odor, an absolute must leave the AC on in there. Speaking of AC, the temperature was on and off... it'll blow cold air for a minute and then it'll go room temperature air for a few minutes. I don't remember it doing that my for my first time here at Lub D

Will be perfect if there is a lift 😀. But staff are very nice to offer their help to carry our luggage upstairs

- VERY clean shared bathroom area - Location has good access to sky train and bus - Free water bottle refill

- very noisy due to main road and traffic, hard to sleep. - no laundry facilities - no activities put on by hostel - no house keeping which isn’t ideal for longer stays

The staff were very friendly, which created a great atmosphere for the world cup. The bathroom was clean had a great coworking space with very good internet connectivity

The location although very close to the station but was also close to a main road so could get a bit noisy

My room was very noisy however with oropax it was alright.

The location is really close to BTS station. The staff at the reception all are helpful and friendly.

The aircond located just few inches from the bed. Need to switch off and on over time although had set the temp and fan accordingly.

Location was great and the bathrooms were well maintained.

It would’ve been nice to have a place to gather and meet people a little more! And curtains to have privacy when sleeping :)

Staff, staff, staff. Many 5 star hotels do not have the quality of the staff people Lub d Bangkok Siam has. Amazing, nice, empathetic, friendly, respectful, lovely and kind workers at reception desk, café, bar. The quality of pillows and sheets, clean and confy.

The room needs air. The private room has a mold smell that needs to be solved. Maybe the concrete used is absorbing moisture. I stayed 1 night only that's why was not a ruge problem. But I could not stay more. This need to be addressed sooner than later..
