More storage for clothes, not just hanging space.

Hotel is in a fantastic location opposite Wat Arun. It’s perfect for visiting Wat Pho and the Grand Palace.

The location was perfect for the view of Wat Arun and the goings on of the river. Easy access to The Grand Palace and many temples. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite. The hotel was very clean and the room was well equipped. The food in the restaurant was especially good as was the service.

Older area/neighborhood some run down buildings… but also beautiful historical sites…

Room is compact but the bed was excellent. Really no negatives and it’s a struggle to even say anything neutral. The staff are incredible

The view is spectacular and gets better and better as night draws in. The staff are very helpful. Hotel does decent room service and is directly opposite a Michelin rated restaurant. The flower market and reclining Buddha are in walking distance.

Would be nice to have an outdoor table to eat my room service dinner and breakfast whilst taking in the view. The coffee machine didn’t work so well.

Everything was really nice and the staff were excellent and always looking to take care of the customer. The staff were also very fluent in the English language so communication was no issue. The view from the rooftop bar and restaurant was great.

One small issue to note. Being able to make tea or coffee in the room was great, even having a room service option available was great to have, however there were no chairs or tables in our room which made these options all less practical.

What a location for breakfast, friendly efficient service, good food

Very good location for visiting the temples and the Grand Palace. Wonderful views of the Chaophaya river and the Temple of The Dawn.

The hotel restaurant's menu does not provide enough varities of foods and the quality are not reasonable.

The location is fabulous, you can walk to many of BKKs great sites. The bed is super comfortable and the rooftop view is lovely. There is an MRT stop and a river ferry stops about 7 minutes' walk away. Both Wat Pho and Siam Museum (which is fabulous) are just a couple of minutes walk away.

The room is small and there is not much room for even average size luggage. Make sure you request a high floor to get a view, we booked months ahead but ended up on the first floor with a partial view. It's a bit quiet at night so if you like to eat later than 9pm you might like to be someone busier.

Very helpful and polite staff. Excellent arrangement of transfers to other parts of Thailand and to the airport. Nicely and practically furnished rooms. Breathtaking view of Wat Arun.

This was my first time travelling to Thailand and I am glad I made the choice to stay at Riva Arun in Bangkok. The heat was a huge shock for me after I landed, but I did not feel bothered by it during my stay in the hotel. Tobey and Pim did a wonderful job assisting me throughout my stay as I felt well welcomed and well informed. The amenieties in the room, the cold towels or lotus tea at the reception, the rooftop restaurant with a clear view to Wat Arun and the Chao Phraya river added so much value to my stay. I was happy that so many touristic spots were in walking distance, and otherwise I could hop on the boat or take the metro to reach out further. Thank you for having me!

The lightswitches in the room felt a bit confusing to me especially if I woke up in the middle of the night. Wifi coverage was a bit bad inside of my room.
