Clean rooms, comfy beds, central location.

Nice rooftop terrace with bar / restaurant, comfortable and quite luxurious overall

Quite old-fashioned and dark decoration with antiques everywhere (inc. in the bedrooms), very slow staff at the front desk for our check-in. Breakfast was very expensive and served in the basement, with no daylight, and a very sad atmosphere.

Great looking hotel with really nice features.

Took a long time to checking. The bed was moving around. And the heat was heating the ceiling and not the bed. I suggest to improve the informatic system, to fix th3 bed and to have a fan in the room to move the air around.

restaurant never asked about allergies and when they brought our lobster ravioli, the sauce had mussels in it - my wife is allergic to mussels! when asked, the response from the waiter was just don’t have the sauce! disappointed

Excellent location near sites and shopping. Large rooms with great art, decor, and amenities - very clean and always smelled wonderful! The staff were outstanding and helped us with directions, suggestions, and booking a train. The service was truly amazing!

Maybe a bit picky but the main shower had a problem with the temperature and upon arrival, the sinks didn't drain properly ( but that was later resolved). Also, our room didnt have the greatest view, which meant we always felt like we were in a cave.

The hotel is stunning. The rooms are unique and beautifully decorated. The grand suite duplex is one of the nicest hotel rooms i have stayed in. With a stunning bathroom. The in shower steam room was an excellent bonus along with the stand alone bathtub. The rooftop bar was by the far the best one we visited while in barcelona with beautiful views and fabulous atmosphere. The staff in the spa/ bar/ housekeeping/ reception were all so pleasent and helpful. I would highly recommend the Maysan secret Massage, it is one of the only massages i have ever received which left me completely tension free. The beds are also incredibly comfortable.

The only issue i had was there was maintenance work occurring which meant there was no hot water one morning with little pressure. My partner unfortunately had a shower where brown rusty water came down on top of him. However, it was only for a second and was due to maintenance work.

I loved the air conditioning which worked really well and the mattress was perfect especially because I was pregnant. The water pressure was very good and the cleaning staff were very attentive. I also enjoyed the complimentary water

The rooftop was full and we were disappointed that as hotel guests we weren’t able to find a seat on the Saturday afternoon. The staff on the rooftop restaurant were not very attentive and should have maybe tried to accommodate us.

Lack of space to put things by the bed. Bedside table taken up by huge lamp, no drawer in it. As a result I lost a couple of things which they've said they can't find... suspect they fell off the table and gone under the bed. Seems small but it was really annoying!

We liked the service of the staff, from reception to the bellhops and porters as well as the cleaning & room service staff. Check-in was prompt and there was no long wait for our room. The terrace restaurant was also nice and atmospheric with talented staff.

On the last night, we extended our stay and changed to a smaller room: this was not a problem as the quality was consistent and it was comfortable and well equipped. However, we were not informed that the smaller room did not include additional complimentary drinks, so we had to pay a bit extra as we left. Overall it was still a wonderful stay and the staff was full of smiles.

Overall, it was a nice place to stay in Barcelona close to shops and transportation. I liked how they managed to decorate the whole hotel with some ancient arts and statues which looked very neat. The staff were very nice some were a bit ignorant but in general they were good.

It was a bit pricey for the time I stayed there.

A very beautiful hotel, the best is the roof top terrace with beautifully created cactus and seating area.

I didn’t like that the suite was quite dark, not much daylight. There is no view at all, when you open the shades there’s a brick wall in front of you. it’s great for spending the night there but not for more time.

The location, decor and most importantly staff were superb. Very stylish and very accommodating team, especially given that we travelled with a 10 month old. The staff quite literally did everything they could to make our stay fantastic. The location is very central with great access to the main attractions in Barcelona.

The room was slightly small especially with the cot but that’s on us for booking a small room. I would go with a larger room next time. Other than that, perfect.

Couldn't get even an extra 30 minutes as late checkout not even for one of the rooms we had..seems that is the hotel policy as we get the rejection at the reception before even asking us for room details or which date we want it for.

The hotel was beautifully decorated, and the bedrooms well appointed with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept on. The pool/ rooftop area was great, comfortable sun loungers, lots of seating and great views of the city. The spa experience was fabulous! My husband and I had a 50 minute deep tissue massage, just excellent and very relaxing! I would certainly stay at this hotel again.

Most of the staff we came into contact with were brilliant, there was just a couple of occasions were the reception team couldn’t provide information or assist us contacting the spa to adjust our treatments while the spa was closed, we had to come back from our lunch to speak with them directly. The bathroom in the bedroom could do with a little updating as just didn’t have a luxury feel, unlike the beautiful bedroom. Lighting in the bedroom was not good, very dark and unflattering.
