The spa area is magic

The rooftop is apparently open everyday but wasn’t. we tried to visit one day when the weather was perfect in Barcelona and we’re sent on a wild goose chase around the hotel. We started at the rooftop where they were no staff or service so went down to the lobby to ask if it was open. After being told yes, we returned to the rooftop to find no staff. We then went down to the 6th where there is a guest lounge and bar and were told the rooftop wasn’t open. We left but then returned to the same level thinking the staff would still be there as there were multiple guests in the lounge. There were no staff available (again). A woman sitting by the bar on her laptop (who appeared to be a manager perhaps) asked if we needed help. We explained that we’d been sent to the rooftop by reception and told it was open but can’t find staff anywhere. She said she’d send someone up straight away. We gave the rooftop one last try, eventually someone did show up. After taking our drink orders and fumbling around behind the bar for quite some time, we were then told he couldn’t make the drinks because he wasn’t the regular bartender and there were no ingredients. This entire process of going up and down the hotel took over the half an hour. It’s fine for the rooftop to be closed, I understand there are staff shortages. But please get the message straight instead the hotel and don’t send guests up and down the floors.

The location is excellent The design of the reception, pool area and the dining is great and if feels like a happy place Stunning view of La pedrera from the roof top it like watching a post card.

The toilet in the bedroom is not in the same area as the rest of the bathroom. For hygiene reasons!!

The location and the interior design are very nice and the staff was friendly and efficient.

It is a party hotel, full of booze-driven millennials and those that want to be one. Also, our small balcony was nicely tiled and in between each tile were dozen of spent cigarettes. I feel sorry for housekeeping that would have to clean up after such entitled behavior but as I said their demographic seems to be the booze-fueled tourists. The staff was very nice but I saw some really obnoxious guests be overly demanding and offputting, so they deserve a raise. The toilets in the room are odd in their layout and it made me wipe down all the light switches, handles, and remotes with alcohol.

Very nice hotel, location & pool.

The staff at the reception on our first evening checking in. We booked a room with a balcony & when shown to our room it had a tiny window balcony. when we questioned this they reluctantly gave us the room we booked & from then on we’re very cold with us. We did nothing wrong. Wasn’t a nice experience.

Music too loud in restaurant. Roof top bar turns into teenage Instagram hotspot - better reserve it for hotel guests or at least a similar clientele.

The facilities, rooms, food and atmosphere in this place are superb! When we checked in, we didn't need or want to leave to get anything - they have a pool for relaxing in, the food was off the charts, a DJ at sunset, the spa was peaceful and relaxing, and the restaurant was amazing. Best selling point is that the rooftop is exclusive to residents - so it's never overcrowded.

The pillows were too soft for my liking [but suited my friend to a tee] - there were spares available in the room. So short of making a pillow fort I didn't have to go far at all to make myself comfortable. One note: the carpet needs a refresh in the halls.

Costumer relationship was amazing, cheerful and welcoming.

The Location

Lighting was very dark in particular the route to one of the lifts. We were also told to drink up quickly late evening as the police would be coming after ordering drinks only minutes before. I’m unsure of licensing laws in Spanish hotels but thought it was ok for residents to carry on drinking. Tea and coffee in the room very spartan.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, the rooms were big enough, comfortable and modern, we loved the decoration. Besides all these good features, what made me feel safe and happy was the friendly staff of the hotel who helped us with all our questions with a big smile, they made us feel at home. I would like to take this opportunity to thank especially Mila who help us with her smiling face and sincerity at the reception. The most important factor that makes a hotel warm and charming is not luxury, but how you are approached, Sir Victor is the most important part of this. I am happy that we have experienced a good example. My only criticism is that the breakfast is low according to the hotel's standards. I think there should be a wider breakfast menu, but the breakfast room team was also very friendly and the service was fine.

Breakfast could be much better, breakfast menu was poor when you compare with the standards of the hotel.

wifi connection was off for 24 hours ! I had to cancel calls - didn't offered any solution or perks the room was not cleaned one day, had to ask Breakfast is not included

If you are out and about all day than come back to the hotel no need to go out again! Mr Porter has amazing food, DJ, vibes and ambiance with an open kitchen. The Spa is amazing love the wooden fluted walls; we did not take a massage but we used the pool and saunas very insta proof! The roof top bar and pool with amazing views was not open in January but I will come back later this year just to stand and have a cocktail there; WOW. We loved the marble pool table and the fucky people and Sebastian the friendly handsom bartender and playing pool games with the Algerian security guard! We will be back….
