Excellent location, the hotel is beautiful, the food is very good , the staff we're very helpful, the rooms were excellent and cleaned daily, the hotel had lots of character and a beautiful spiral staircase

Could not fault the hotel would definitely return and recommend to anyone

Great location in the city center with cozy vintage atmosphere inside. Staff is very kind and friendly. We loved restaurant as well.

Excellent central location. Just a short walk to many historical tourist sites. A huge selection of excellent shops, retaurants and pubs. It's a beutiful hotel. The restaurant/bar on the ground floor is perfect for a coffee or evening meal. The breakfast is superb and the service excellent. I have no hesitation recommending the Gerlozcy Hotel to anyone visiting Budapest.

It was a beautiful hotel with masses a character and charm. The reception staff spoke excellent English and were helpful and friendly. The evening meal was great and served with efficiency.

The choice for breakfast was a little disappointing and although we were told it was unlimited it was unclear what was on offer.

Everything was fantastic. Brilliant staff who would do anything for you. The room design was incredible - very detailed, vintage, classy and incredibly well maintained. The room was cleaned brilliantly everyday. The breakfast is the best breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel - and I would advise eating at the restaurant in the evening too. There was live music, amazing Hungarian food and an ambience of vintage Hungarian class. We LOVED this hotel!

The bistrot of the Hotel was beyond our expectations, beautiful, music played while we were eating, good wine and food, beautiful square. Just an amazing night

It is a jewelery box in the middle of Bp. :) Very high standards, and boutique feeling. Location is also excellent.

Fantastic location, beautiful historical building, rooms full equiped and decorated with amazing furniture, efficient and friendly staff, excellent and cost effective restaurant ( we had two meals there)... Final detail to be noted - breakfast served until 12:00 AM, can be considered a brunch

This was already excellent, the only improuvment I could suggest, would be a gym facility

The location was excellent - a short walk to the main metro station and the Basilica, and right beside the Jewish quarter for bars and restaurants. Our room was beautiful and very clean and comfortable

Nice spacious room, loved the furnishing, decoration and the view from my window to the little square and streets. Comfortable bed, good selection of tea in the room. Very friendly, polite staff, also at the restaurant.

The main entrance door did not always open with my card. The main door to the floor where the rooms are is loud, closing with a bang each time someone enters.

It was such a fabulous little hotel that was full of character. The staff were so friendly and the breakfast was the best we've ever had.

The only negative was the evening meal we booked at the hotel's restaurant. A plate of parsnips is not an acceptable vegetarian main course and I think is the worst meal I've ever had. It was such a shame as the restaurant breakfasts were so so good.

The location is really great! I was in Budapest for watching operas, it's a really conveniet place that metro and buses are close by. Can walk to most of tourist locations. I especially their tradional decorations and the restaurant. Foods were really tasty with pofessional and friendly staffs. The room i was staying with two big windows, the a/c is really warm.

The bathroom is bit of small, the shower and toilet is in a narrow place. The shower is fixed on the wall could not take off to use. The reception is not at the groud floor, you need help to get your heavy luggages up the stairs.

Lovely room. Unique hotel. Friendly staff. Good price and location.

This hotel was magnificent. This was my first time to Budapest and it was close to essentially everything that I wanted to see and do. It is also super close to all modes of transportation including bus/tram stops as well as the hop on hop off bus location, which I was extremely thankful for and there is even a spot to rent bikes directly in front of the hotel. The room was clean and smelled amazing.

The only thing to be aware of when booking, the room I originally got had a beautiful clawfoot tub, but no shower curtain and it was necessary to hold the shower head to wash. If you're a bath taker, it is perfect for you. If you take showers I would advise against that particular room. I asked the front desk if I could have a room with a shower and they graciously accommodated.

Loved it’s old world charm and elegance with modern comforts. The lovely bistro-style café/restaurant was a real plus especially for dinner after a busy day sightseeing. The front desk staff and those in the restaurant were extremely pleasant, attentive and helpful.

For us there EVERYTHING to like about the property!

Beautiful property with an attached cafe. Nice amenities in the room. The balcony that looks on to a small square outside the hotel was very nice to have tea in.

The location was fantastic. Next to the center of the city but in a quiet square. Close to the main attractions and with many nice restaurants nearby. We both loved the decoration. I am glad the breakfast was not a buffet, you could choose between delicious sweet or salty options from the menu.

The bathtub looked nice but it was not practical at all. As there was no screen or separation, water ended up on the floor (making it quite slippery). However, the worst part was that the separation between the bathroom and the room was not properly sealed. Therefore, the water from the bathroom leaked through the floor of the room. In short, each time we went to the bathroom or bed, water appeared again. We told that to the staff but nothing changed. Although we understand it is not so quick to fix, I do not think we have been the first couple to experience this. We also thought the individual duvets were not the best option for a double bed.

Beautiful rooms. Wonderful breakfast in the cafe.

Tub situation is not ideal. Ask for a room wit a shower.
