Tango de Mayo Hotel, Buenos Aires

The place, the room, the staff, location and the roof top area to dine. Our housekeeper found my earring that I had considered lost , on the floor, and saved it for me. Beyond wonderful.

Everything except the breakfast selection. The same not exciting selection every day.

The areas around the hotel are very run down I felt a little uncomfortable walking around during the day and I was not comfortable going out at night

What can I say, every thing was down right excellant. Room, maid service, and the staff perfect.

Excellent location. We stayed in one of the bigger rooms and it was very spacious. Clean, excellent breakfast, friendly staff.

Centrally located. Easy walking. Ok breakfast but pretty basic. We had a corner room with a great view of street action. We quickly learned that prostitution is legal here due to ladies working the corner right outside our window. Great rooftop which is where we spent a lot of our time.

We couldn’t open our curtains without having enormous exposure to the people on the street.

Beautifully restored historic building, very clean, excellent service. Also have a nice rooftop bar and the food was very good there and we had a very good dinner in their restaurant.

Location was perfect, being between Plaza de Mayo and Plaza del Congreso, in East walking distance of each. Rooms were nice, comfortable, and uniquely designed. Breakfast was very good and served in a classy restaurant.

The room wasn’t as soundproof as I would like. You could hear some road noise from the street below.

Very centrally located. The staff was very acomodating and helped us when our fly was canceled. We had a great stay at Tango de Mayo.

My room was very clean and comfortable. I loved the decor. The front desk staff were very helpful. I didn't have a convertor for the electrical outlet in my room and they provided one for me.

It is a wonderful, magical place.

Everything! Booked for 2 days.. then came back for more. Reception Staff were excellent, friendly, knowledgeable & put themselves out to help you. I really appreciated that. Marisol in dining room was just lovely. Greeting you every morning! Comfortable beds & good size room.

Friendly staff and a great renovation of an old property. The restaurant did a nice breakfast but the dinner menu was poor- better to eat at the Dome bar.

Apart from breakfast, the restaurant needs some serious attention

Architecture and design of hotel is superb. Location is excellent for the area sites. Great security.

Staff members were extremely helpful and pleasant and the location was ideal for our needs.

I wish the room had been a bit larger. There was very little space for our luggage.

I loved the decor and style of the hotel plus the location. I told myself that if I’m in BA again, I’d definitely want to stay there again. It’s right in the center of town meaning you’re close to everything you might need. I also tried their room service which was delicious. I simply loved it.
