Amazing location, great staff, comfy rooms! 100% would recommend.

There should be an electric teapot in the room - I missed having hot water for coffee/tea, especially on marathon day since all coffee shops were closed at 6 am.

Loved the location! So close to the Magic Mile, the trains, bars and restaurants. It was a really fun hotel with super friendly staff. Great facilities including a guest laundry and gym. Would definitely stay there again and recommend.

The only thing I could say was the room I was in was really quite noisy at night. I was facing the main road on a lower level, and I could hear everything on the street, including the music that played on the street most nights until very late. But I guess that is to be expected, staying right in the heart of the city.

The location of this hotel was great. This place is very close from a station, restaurants and shops.

This hotel does not have restaurants. There is bakery shop at the 1st floor only open till noon. Bar is also available.

Room was quite expensive as it was marathon weekend, and area is quite noisy, but that's not the hotel's fault obviously!

Sounds from street prominent even in 15th floor, though mainly sirens. It's suggest adding a few USB sockets.

Location was good, near supermarkets and restaurants. The room was big and the design was nice.

The female staff at the front desk looked disinterested to serve when we were checking out. She didn't bother to look at us when we were asking for clarifications. That seemed rather rude and lacked the basic manners in the service industry.

Good location - walking distance to the main attractions, city centre, river, and lake. Room was spacious.

Rude and untrained staff - didn’t know how to print a receipt for a credit card payment authorisation. No bottled water in the room. Booked a city view room, but the window was looking in to walls of a small courtyard or alleyway.

Need to sort out payment issues. Wasn't told until I arrived there was a 100 dollar deposit charge. Annoying but I could live with it. I had to make payment for the room and the deposit on check in, which was fine. I tried to make payment on two different credit cards several times while two different staff members insisted there was something wrong with my card(s). This was despite the fact that I could show them on my online banking app that a payment was taken from my card. Their system wasn't showing a payment so they wouldn't accept what I was saying. It was only when another guest arrived and they were also having trouble taking his payment that they accepted it was their system that was the issue. Not a great start. On checkout, instead of just refunding the 100 dollars deposit they (without telling me), charged my card AGAIN for just the room. So I was left with TWO pending charges of several hundred dollars against my card, had to contact them twice to release one of the charges which they did do but it took days which wasn't good as I needed the funds available on my card for the second leg of my holiday. It was a good stay in general but these type of amateur issues are really not acceptable from a hotel.

All in all, it's a fine place to stay. Great locale if you want to be downtown and north of the river.

It's a personal thing, it's not my favorite area of downtown. That's not the hotel's fault, but the place is a lot like a Moxy by Marriott but doesn't quite nail the quality level those typically deliver

The location was great: just around the corner from a red line station, and easily walkable to the river, the lake, and downtown landmarks. I also found the bed comfortable and clean, and I enjoyed the rain-style shower with good water pressure. On one evening I spent time at the Berkshire Room downstairs where Danny, the bartender, made fantastic cocktails and friendly chat with those of us seated at the bar. I ended up staying down there far longer than I had intended because I was enjoying the drinks and conversation so much. The hotel is good value for its location, especially if, like me, you want to spend all of your trip out and about in the city rather than hanging out in the hotel room.

All of my dislikes are minor. In the Booking.com description of the room (though not the title of the listing) were the words "city view" (along with the listed amenities/size of bed/etc.) but my room's one window looked out at a tiny airshaft and was very dark. It suited my purposes as I didn't spend much time in the room (I kept the curtain closed the whole time), but it would be better to remove the phrase "city view" as it's a bit misleading. The decor of the rooms also isn't up to the standard of the lobby or the bar -- not at all a dealbreaker, since I was out and about the whole time, but I would not stay here for aesthetics or a "lounging around the hotel room" vacation. Finally, while I enjoyed the shower, there was no way to keep water from going all over the bathroom floor next to it, as the Acme showers sport the glass half-walls that are increasingly popular in hip hotels.
