Hotel Lincoln, Chicago

Good sized room(junior suite),comfortable bed,good view from room, staff helpful.

Some of the decor was a bit tired looking

Great location. Across from Lincoln Park and the lake. Quiet and central for Lincoln Park location. Really decent cafes nearby, and great for daily outdoor exercise / walks.

The lobby was not clean. Way too many dogs and dirty furniture. Felt 'grubby'. There were treats on the ground for dogs...where were the treats for the paying guests? So odd. Elaine's cafe needs to clean up a bit. Food needs to be served from a very clean place in my opinion - and it does not feel clean. Parker Rooftop restaurant is fantastic. Food was super and the drinks / cocktails also. View is top notch. Great vibe.

Great location, nice amount of space in the room, tea and coffee making facility, comfy bed. We arrived early and appreciated being able to leave our bags there while our room was prepared. Lovely helpful staff.

air con units seemed a bit noisy, though we did manage to get used to them.

Communal areas scruffy particularly the lifts, no tea available in the evening, room a bit dark needs a lift. Wall colour not good.

The staff was really nice and helped out my cousin as she was having problems. Hopefully she apologized. The location of the hotel is awesome. I loved the old timey retro atmosphere of the building. The rooftop bar ? INCREDIBLE. I loved the refillable water bottles and the fitness room was great. I also fell in love the with the spinning front door.

the food is super expensive at the rooftop bar . On the pull out mattress there were cough drop wrappers that didn’t get cleaned. Didn’t have a mini fridge though it was specified in the room description as that is the reason we upgraded because we were staying for about 5 days. The bed and pillows could be more comfy. Some pillows were A1 but others weren’t. I guess that’s preference. The bathtubs didn’t seem super clean. The bottom of the tub looked “dirty” although was probably scrubbed.

It was my first time staying there and I really like the location. It's convenient to my friends in Old Town and right on the Lake where I enjoy recreating.

For some reason the water was switched off in the middle of the night - couldn't get water out of the tap or flush the toilet. There was no notification before or after.

Liked the size of the junior suite. It was very quiet.

Furniture in the suite was a bit worn.

We love being close to Lincoln Park and several bus lines that can get you downtown. Seth with housekeeping was exceptionally friendly.

Rooms are a bit odd in configuration and musty.

The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a little small but that is just the sign of it being an older hotel.

Strong pervasive msrijuana fumes stinking up hallways. Security staff were trying to correct

Air conditioners were very noisy. One of window shades wouldn’t open more than half-way.

Wife and I have stayed here at least 10 times for multiple nights. We love the location.

Location was awesome. So close to old town, museum, Lincoln Park, beach, 2nd City improv, and excellent breakfast spot around the corner, Nookies. Oh and that roof top view....

Smelled a bit funny. Shower over a bath not my favorite.

The staff was very friendly and easy to communicate with. They were very accommodating. The Parker restaurant was delicious with friendly wait staff. The security guard Micheal was super friendly, and we felt like we made a friend.

The bed was too firm for my tastes. I prefer a softer bed. The pillows were comfortable.

Very clean room and bathroom.

We did not get the room we booked, “park view “ we had a view of the ally and neighboring buildings. The desk staff was way to casual, they took your hip vibe to a much to casual level.

Really thought the parking could of been explained better prior to arriving. Had we know it was the lot across the street would of altered what dress clothes and luggage we brought with us

Each night we couldnt get to the roof top bar to enjoy the complimentary drink the hotel provided due to private events. A lobby bar or similar would of been awesome for those guests who were not part of the private event

The hotel location and service were excellent.

My room was next to the elevator, which was noisy.

loved the location! across from Lincoln Park and close to the lake. nice for a morning walk. room was funky and older but comfortable. Roof top bar was fun! lots to do in the area. cool coffee shop on the premises.

We booked because of the location during the Old Town Art Fair. Perfect location for the event and easy to walk to restaurants at night.
