Must-have when you are about to visit Fes! Very affordable price, the place is amazing, the hostel is designed in traditional Marroican style, with a yard inside the bulding. Moreover, there is a huge terrace, where you have a amazing view for a whole city! The host is very hospitable and always avaiable person with a peaceful life's attituide. In addition you have a traditional Marroican breakfast in a price. Worth visiting!

You have a shared room with other tourists, but its typical for hostels in Marroco.

One of the best places to stay in Fes. Good vibes, great hospitality, and delicious food, along with being an ideal spot for striking up conversations with strangers and making new friends. I will definitely return on my next visit to Fes.

Yassin Zidane was a great host, the hostel was in good condition. Clean and calm place.

The Hostel is really funky, 3 floors, charming atmosphere, nice view from the rooftop, plants everywhere. Very well organised crew, cool opportunities to discover the city, and meet other people from different hostels. They helped me all the time to get there, to get around, not to get lost and to travel further. As a solo woman traveller it is a bid support and I am very grateful for that. 😊

That the dinner and breakfast were tasty and there was plenty available. The staff were helpful and friendly and the walking tour that started from the hostel was great too!

Getting to the accommodation wasn't so easy and it would've been nice to have someone meet us. Shower could've had the previous persons clothes and towel removed who was no longer staying there.

The nicest hostel I've stayed in Morocco, clean and nice vibes!

Simply impeccable. The stay here was everything I wanted and more. Breakfast is good and the dinner meal (60dhs) is worth the money even if you could find somewhere cheaper simply because it's good food and amazing company. I cannot stress enough how great this hostel was, it is a must if you can't find anywhere better in Fes. The common area is relaxing, the terrace is chill (vibe and temperature) and the overall feeling of the hostel was very family oriented which I appreciated.

Would be nice if guests could also use the kitchen at least for reheating food in the microwave or bowling water when samira is not using it for the hostel’s meals

Peacefull hostel in the heart of Fez’ Medina where you’ll enjoy the terraza or living room to rest after running the small streets of the city. Also offer very good diner and various services with lovely staff

It was spacious, dorms had lockers, ac but we didnt need it. They has walking tours from the hostel which i took and got to see specific parts of medina to explore. Hostel also had dinner which u could pay over there for and it was delicious! Loved it! The staff was very nice and helpful. Met nice ppl here too!

Exceptional location, relaxed vibe, kind staff. Healthy free tasty breakfast (although not very filling). A great hostel for young travelers, especially when they are open for new contacts and adventures.I wouldn't be able to recommend a hostel that provides better value for your money than Funky Fes!

We went on a Sahara desert trip that was booked by Funky Fes. It was an expensive (€250) 3 day trip, so we expected to be blown away. Although we had some great moments, we were disappointed by the guides, communication and lack of hospitality. We were completely absorbed into the typical tourist traps, in which we felt like kettle being driven around from place to place, to be pushed to pay extra money at every opportunity the local people could get. We would advise Funky Fes to refer people to a different travelling agency for Desert Sahara tours than we were sent with (we still do not know what agency we went with). Funky Fes is a great, welcoming hostel that should refer people to activities that fit with that welcoming character.

Best vibes, perfect setup for digital nomads, love the huge terrace and common spaces. Breakfast and dinner are delicious.

The location is far (10-15min walk) from the main activity in the medina, which is good because you can reach this place without getting lost easily from the south side, but also bad because at night it can be scary to walk around in the dark alleys until you reach a place with people.
