Portrait Firenze Hotel, Florence

This hotel is a real 5 stars! Firstly, the hotel is located right on the embankment of the Arno River in the very center of the city: close to the famous bridges and the street with Prada, Celine and other boutiques. This hotel is much better in comfort, breakfast and location than Four Seasons Firenze. Four Seasons has the advantage of having its own park, a large spa and a large lobby. Rooms and breakfast in Portrait Firenze hotel are much better. You will have to pay a thousand Euros for standard room at Four Seasons Firenze, and a good room of 40 square meters in Lungarno Collection will cost less - 650 Euros. I will stay in this hotel again with great pleasure.

I would return this hotel to its former name - the Grand Hotel Arno.

The hotel is very elegant. The location is one of the best in Florence, within walking distance of the best shopping area and the most popular plazas. They Upgraded my room to a suite, it was very elegant and very royal. The breakfast was delicious and everyone has to try the nutella pie in the breakfast buffet. A special thanks to Adele she was amazing, Francisco, and Matteo. They were very helpful and polite.

The view of the Ponte Vecchio and the Lungarno River are amazing. The staff are extremely helpful and kind. They helped us arrange an entire week's itinerary of guided tours and excursions in the surrounding area upon arrival. They also planned and made reservations for us for dinner every evening.

These were only minor inconveniences which did not detract from our enjoyment of our stay as a whole, but one of the restaurants they booked for us was not as positive an experience as all the others, and the hotel bathroom was quite dark and warm (not air conditioned.)

Our stay at Portrait Firenze was absolutely perfect. The staff was warm and friendly, with lovely beverages and treats for our kids on our arrival. The room was pristine, with the most incredible views. The beds could not have been more comfortable and we all slept soundly.

We enjoyed the involvement of all staff in every part of our stay. From making reservations in selected and suggested restaurants, to informing about inconveniences (e.g. a taxi strike) to suggestions for visits to interesting places in Florence (including the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum). Breakfasts exactly as expected in Italy! Great coffee, smiling staff, helpful and professional. We would like to thank Mrs. Ewa for her competence, experience and high personal culture. Thank you to the entire team.

Beautiful location overlooking the Arno. Friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable concierge staff.

Location perfect! Staff polite and helpful. Breakfast bad organisation, very poor continental breakfast, always something missing,on Saturdays too many people to serve very few waiters to look after you. Having paid so much money for accommodation, should I pay for an omelette. What a pity.!

the Breakfast was a trap to be honest, I thought we had a breakfast with at least one main dish but unfortunate they told us that any dish will be charged extra, we didn't have breakfast any day except the first day.
