The exquisitely beautiful Geneva Hotel is situated on the banks of the River Rhone near the Rath Museum, Grand Theatre de Geneve, and Bastions Park. Formerly called the Hotel du Rhône, the hotel is set conveniently in Geneva’s business district and near shopping destinations. The Geneva Hotel was the first hotel built in Europe after World War II.
Constructed in 1950, the hotel was renovated in 2008 by designer, Adam D Tihany using cherry wood, silk, mirrors and bold colors to create a lavish feel. The rooms were refurbished in 2013 by Sybille de Margerie, adding warmth and vibrancy to the decor. The hotel is a treat to the eyes and also the taste buds. Its signature restaurant is Rasoi by Vineet, where sensational Indian dishes are created by Chef Vineet Bhatia. The Café Calla serves modern French and health-conscious cuisine while the Mandaritini serves cocktails.

Beautiful, large bedroom and bathroom. The hotel smells amazing everywhere you go! The little touches, welcome cake on arrival, chocolates on your pillow at night. This is a lovely hotel.

Great breakfast, amazing Cappuccino but you have to order and wait for scrambled eggs. Wi-fi not so fast, but free. The Japanese restaurant in the structure is excellent and there is a very good gym with top equipment by Technogym. The room is nice and beds are ok. Quiet room.
Wi-fi is not so fast, and one evening I came back and found my room locked for room service. My key didn't work, I tried to ring and knows but nobody open. One receptionist then kindly came to my room and opened the door. Inside my room there was a lady and a man of the staff that apparently didn't hear me trying to ring and knock. I had a bad feeling on this.

The lap of luxury
An absolutely fabulous hotel, very stylish and elegant, beautiful rooms and even more wonderful suites. It is luxurious without being overpowering and the staff couldn’t be more charming, helpful and welcoming. The location is central and practical with beautiful views overlooking the Rhône river . There are also delicious dining options.
