This four-star hotel is the ideal center of hospitality. Located in an excellent area and offering guests the best of services coupled with a great view of the city, this hotel does have it all. The Alamo Guest House is located at 46 Gray Street, North West Glasgow and is housed within a 19th-century Victorian-style building. The hotel building features the typical Victorian design, but modern designs have been added to make it even more beautiful. As a result, the hotel is the perfect blend of retro and modern.
The hotel is strategically located near some of the city’s most famous and fascinating places; the city center is a 20-minute walk away from the hotel while the Glasgow Botanical Garden is a 25-minute walk away from the hotel. Alamo Guest House is located near some of the city’s busiest route and transportation system. The Glasgow Central Railway Station is also a 25-minute walk from the hotel, and the popular SECC Arena is just a 20-minute stroll from the hotel premises.
The hotel provides several room options such as Deluxe Double Room with Park Views, King Room with Shared Bathroom and Superior King Room with Park Views.

Exceptional
The Service was Exceptional. Owner Steve, and Manager Jenn could not have been lovelier or more accommodating. The Rooms were beautifully re-done. the Location is unbeatable, right next to the Park. the Breakfast was delicious. I would absolutely stay there again.

Very good
The breakfast was excellent with a choice between Full Scottish and continental. The room was very comfortable with a modern bathroom. For us the location was excellent as we were attending an event ten minutes walk away and there are several pubs and restaurants / cafes a short walk away. And the the city centre is 30 minutes walk, or a ten minute taxi or 15 minute or so bus. The staff are very friendly and attentive.
Minor quibbles such as no hooks to hang towels in the bathroom and the (electric) shower pressure was only good

Good place
We loved the staff and location.
The bathroom was not in our room. It wasn't bad though. The toliet was hard to flush.

A great place to stay, well located, with character, comfort and friendly service. Our second stay.
Great location, beautiful building, friendly, helpful service. Good breakfast. Quiet, yet in a fairly busy area, by Kelvingrove Park, with restaurants and pubs nearby, and easy buses to the centre. Could open the windows for fresh air (as attractive bars on the windows). Shower worked well, plenty of hot water. Use of additional toilet in hall.
The shower in our room (4) could have done with a wall mounted dispenser for gel and/or shelf for the toiletries.

Wonderful stay at Alamo
Without a doubt best bed i have sleept in. It was super cosy to have the bathtub infront of the bed, felt like a prince :) . The owner and the staff was 10/10! I had a special request task for them regarding my wife 40th birthday and they did super good job. Also they were very friendly and gave us good tips about the city.

Booked a single night but ended up staying for two as it was such a wonderful place!
This gorgeous guest house is situated in a lovely quiet street in the west end of Glasgow. Its an ideal location for exploring the area. The rooms are spotless and the staff are super friendly and helpful! Great cooked breakfast too.
Parking for a car through the day is a bit expensive but the guest house do have some parking permits which make it much cheaper. Its worth asking about the permits when booking.

Amazing stay for amazing price!
Comfortable room, bathroom outside of room which I wasn't sure of but it was fine. Breakfast was amazing, and the young girl (sorry didn't get name) who attended to us on arrival and at breakfast is an asset to you, very helpful and professional.

Beautiful rooms
Gorgeous room and very kindly upgraded room on arrival. Breakfast was beautiful and offered as much as we would like.
Very warm welcome on arrival.
10am check out was very early , we realised last minute and were half an hour late checking out but the owner was very gracious and understanding.

I went to see an Ed sheeran concert. We chose an excellent hotel. Chose an excellent restaurant .
It was a beautiful room. Very well maintained with exceptional attention to detail,very clean and spacious, one of the nicest rooms I have been in.The staff were very polite and obliging. The breakfast was lovely with a good selection. Made my break a memorable one .
