Excellent location but needs a face lift
Location was great. Room was clean and comfortable rooftop was a bonus.
Building is dated especially carpet on stairs, elevator, toilet didn’t flush at times. Water in sink took forever to go down drain.

I would absolutely return
Location is perfect for strolling Venice Beach, close to restaurants and shops and muscle beach. The rooftop terrace was lovely, we spent several evenings out there. Even without air conditioning the room was not hot (August stay) with the nice breeze from the ocean and the ceiling fans.
Trash trucks at 6:15am in the alley right behind our room. Stairs to the 4th floor get old quick. No ice trays in the room or ice machine in the building.

Beautiful! We will be back. Manager was super nice.
Loved the location! Loved the rooftop! We sat and had coffee and people watched... met a nice couple who were barbequeing on the roof.
The only bummer was no ac... i wanted to open all the windows but no screens! They did have fans in the closet which we used and an overhead fan... but it was a muggy day so window screens would have helped for airflow.

Very good
The location is incredible - right on the beach. The room was clean and well equipped - the kitchenette was perfect for a weekend stay and the bed was very cozy. The rooftop exceeded our expectations - stocked with beach toys, a grill, and space for relaxing.
The surrounding location is not great - the parking attendants could see directly into our room when our blinds were open. But oh well, we're at the beach!
