The location was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful, the beds were very comfortable. The selection at breakfast was plentiful and varied.

The location is excellent with countless food options around. Easy access to key touristic destination. Small bites are available daily which is another perk. Staff are helpful. Pillows are hard enough unlike other hotel pillows which are generally too soft.

The second leg of the trip 10-31 - 11/4 - the concierge made a huge mistake - twice, the room was sub-standard.

The location was perfect for visiting the art museums. The staff were very helpful. Very comfortable room. Very clean. The free afternoon snack was a lovely treat.

Needed parking for 1 night, available lot was walking distance to hotel. Although staff stated a discount for parking, it was not applicable since we parked less than 24 hours. Elevator size for American citizens are small.

Location absolutely central, close not only to Prado, Thyssen Bornemiza and Reina Sofia Museum, but also to piazza Sant'Ana etc. walking distance 5 minutes. Great location in a historic building with a marvellous staircase. Room and bed were very good, all very clean, large bathroom. Breakfast rich, with cook on site, not the standard food of high quality hotels, but really special local products of quality and dishes made for you. Excellent service, no waiting times. From 4pm to 7pm free snack in the bar area, sweet and savoury, always topped up even shortly before 7pm. Although located in the very centre, the room was completely quiet. Very friendly, competent staff. We'll certainly come back again.

The hotel was great! The room was huge and amenities were great! The whole personal was very friendly!

The only minus is that it is a bit loud - our room was facing a street. Even though, the street is very quiet most of the time, there are occasional traffic noises.

This hotel is very close to Plaza Mayor and many wonderful restaurants and cafes.

Amazing staff, great facilities and excellent location. King bed was huge and very comfortable!

The third bed (we were three people) is for kids, not for an adult. While the king size bed was amazing, the third bed where I stayed was not such good quality and my back is in bits. I would definitely stay in three bed room only if you travel with kids.

Can't comment much on the facilities as we did not have breakfast here but the complementary snacks were much appreciated. excellent location in a busy part of Madrid but the rooms were really quiet.

Location, staff, service. Modern conveniences in an antique structure. Quiet despite being in center of a vibrant quarter of the city. Barrio des las Letras is an amazing neighborhood. Walked everywhere except when arriving or leaving town.

The room was lovely and large with a huge bed. Everything was clean & service was excellent. Only the full breakfast buffet was available in the morning,but you could get room service. Delightful coffee shops were just minutes away. Great location for visit the museums & a wonderful selection of shops & restaurants. Perfect location
