Located nearly a kilometer away from the main city center of Memphis, the venue is one of the best stays for tourists. Beautiful spot in a great location.
We had a beautiful, large corner room, looking out onto Second and Madison. Comfortable king bed, nice linens. Beautiful shower too.
I think quite a bit of effort has gone into soundproofing for the outside noises but Memphis has a very noisy downtown with muscle cars and motorcycles revving motors and racing around. This is not a Hotel Napoleon problem, it’s a downtown problem.

Very nice staff, very cool and interesting building, and great location.
The parking is a little confusing. Had to use the garage next door and it wasn't user friendly.

The hotel served its purpose. The staff was really nice.
Mainly the location because it was downtown which made it easy to navigate to other areas fairly quick.
Parking and there was no real ventilation in the room. There was a weird smell coming from the vents when the heat was turned on.

Hotel Napoleon, you were not “short” on comfort, cleanliness or location!
There wasn’t breakfast but The Chess Club was Nextdoor . That was perfect. The staff was helpful and courteous. The room was comfortable and very quiet. The walk to Beale street made the location exceptional.

Hotel Napolean Review
I loved the hotel itself & the set-up. There was plenty of room for my family. The bathroom & shower was very clean. My bed was very comfortable & not hard at all. I was very pleased.
I didn't care for the single elevator & how slow it is, but I understand in older buildings like that, that is how they usually are.

NO SOUND PROOF!!!!!!We woke up at 1am because the couple on the room right on top of us decided to have a fight in the middle of the night and we could hear them yelling, banging on things or even walking.Not a pleasant experience.We went to sleep when they finally decided to stop

Awesome downtown location, but with a more relaxed vibe!
Absolutely loved the location downtown! I love the customer service, especially Rocky! He is so welcoming and he may our anniversary staycation even better with such a welcoming and professional attitude!
I wish the restaurants were open!

Nice stay
I loved our room we loved our view and the bed was extremely comfortable.
I did not like that the parking garage was not free nor was the parking garage attached to the building so you could go from the parking garage directly into the building. I also did not like that the hotel restaurant was still closed. On the website it indicated that they have room service but you couldn't get room service because the hotel restaurant was closed. Because we we're so close to Beale Street at 3:00 a.m. we got woke up due to the noise.

Very good. We would definitely return.
The location is good, though I suppose some travelers would prefer to be closer to Beale Street. Easy parking. Having the Memphis Chess Club coffee shop on the same block was a big plus. It's also on the same block as the baseball stadium.

The location was convenient and the staff was very friendly helpful and responsive.
Location was convenient to our son who lives about 2 blocks away. Room was OK but needed a chair aside from from the desk chair. The bed was comfortable. However the sheets were never and could not be tucked in. As a result the bed was a complete jumble. Even though we put used towels on the floor to be picked up when the room was checked they were not picked up. We requested new towels every evening. That is unacceptable. Finally if a guest wishes to have their room cleaned every day give them the option to to make that request. We have been fully vaccinated and the risk that someone cleaning the room is somehow going infect us is zero.

Had a great time
Everything but shower
A sliding closet door (which, incidentally, was off bottom track. I fixed it myself) for privacy to commode and shower. Seriously? And one little 3 inch soap dish in the shower in perfect place to bump you elbow with nothing for shampoo or anything else.

Nice comfortable room and quiet hotel afforded a good nights rest.
Historic building on corner of MADISON AVE and B B KING in downtown Memphis
Musty smell. Could see original curved window frame water damaged but another sealed inner window was on inner side of this exterior window. Needed repair though
