Hôtel Monville, Montreal

The location was good. The room (suit) was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was served till late which suited us.

The room Aircon was centrally controlled and the room was too cold throughout our stay. The rooftop bar was given over to private functions and the bar on the ground floor closed at 10pm, so no chance of a nightcap after an evening out.

The room was comfortable, though a bit oddly laid out. The bed was really comfortable which was great as we spent a lot of time resting. The black out curtains helped with that as well. The location is close to Old Town and the room had a great view of the city.

Great location and clean comfortable well designed rooms. I stayed in a standard room and it was very nice.

Breakfast was only the buffet option, which was good value and great.

The hotel is in the oldest part of the city, close to the city center, the harbor and Chinatown. It is neat, modern and pleasantly designed.

Upon arrival, an employee made a mistake during check-in and was particularly rude when pointed out to him about the mistake. The mattress and bedding are first class, but all the pillows are all the same, thick and uncomfortable. It could not be improved.

No bar at the roof, breakfast could be better, no serving at the lobby, just the bar and restaurant area.

The room was stunning, beautiful designer-feeling touches, modern fixtures, great integrated entertainment. The bed was so comfortable and the automatic blinds great for keeping the room dark. The communal areas were immaculately kept and the staff were super helpful - they were happy for us to leave our bags for a while on our departure day. Location wise we were able to walk everywhere, it was perfect.

The only thing was we would've liked to have had a drink on the rooftop bar, but it was closed for an event. They have robot waiters which would have been cool!

for a business trip involving mobility issues it was ideally located and offered all I need with a helpful staff,

It was fine, nothing to complain about except my normal annoyance - not enough places to hang towels on!

central location with extremely clean and modern facilities. large, well designed bathrooms, with rooms in a minimalist decor that feels spacious. view of downtown mtl was great and breakfast was fantastic! staff were lovely (and were very patient when I had to call my bank to get my credit card to work which was much appreciated) Valet service was efficient and not expensive option for parking.

Nice modern hotel in a central location. The rooms are quite compact. They are embracing technology... you check yourself in on a screen in reception and there's a robot maid. The bar is nice for a drink however lacks atmosphere. The roof terrace bar was closed twice for private functions. You can park outside the hotel for a short while to unload your luggage.

Check out was very busy and a little chaotic.

Stayed in a corner suite, would have been nice to have a small sofa vs two small chairs in the TV area

Room was great, compact and contemporary. Safe, fridge, kettle and coffee machine.

TV didn’t work however housekeeping fixed it straight away. Coffee machine not plugged in to inaccessible socket but sorted on demand. Airplay to TV not available or if available too complicated to get it to work.

The room had a good view it was clean though the size was small but the location is in the mid of the downtown area hence i would recommend the stay if you want to enjoy the night lights.

The parking is not provided by the hotel and you have to take a vallet parking which adds to the cost of 35 dollars everyday hence the charges should show include that at the time of booking.

Great location and beautiful terrace. Hotel staff is very friendly and professional. Fast elevators and modern clean rooms. A lot of famous places, cafes and restaurants in a walking distance. Will be happy to stay there next time.

I’m not a big fan of open concept bathrooms (but it’s not a problem)

The location, downtown was close to everything. The staff is awesome, helped me with my request with no issues, did a great job!

Room is tiny, literally a bed in the room, no closet or side table or anything where you can unpack your luggage. A couple of hangers, but that’s it. If you’re traveling with handbag, sure, but not for a long stay. The sink is in the hall, shower and toilet is in the “box”. Sliding doors because there’s no space. It seems to be a micro hotel, but for $300/night it is not worth it. Small black halls were not cozy. Even for downtown for a big city it is still super small hotel room.

The front desk staff were exceptionally kind during a late check-in and the breakfast was phenomenal. The room itself was very modern and I especially loved the fact that they had a Nespresso machine in the room.

The TV remote was a bit laggy but otherwise the room was fantastic.
