Fabulous
I like the location , the staff and the cleanliness of the facility .
What I did not like is that the hotel did not have the laundry room and also that the total price did not include the price of the breakfast ! It is a buffet system and that you have to pay extra for the breakfast

Nice property in a good part of town. Has a historic feel, comfortable and quiet.

they did not tell us when they took away the breakfast buffet and we hardly got a full meal. However, our waiter brought us out some additional food.

Quality furniture and fixtures, good location
We booked for the hot tub but it was under construction. Nobody even mentioned that when we called the front desk to ask where it was. We got ready and went to the basement and thwm saw it was all under construction. This was the TINIEST room I have ever stayed in. They also advertise that they have parking but they only have valet parking for an extra $40 per night but you can park for $5 a night across the street.

For the night it was fine.
Location, exceptional staff, showers and renovated bathrooms. Comfy beds too!
Lobby entrance and our room smelled like bad air freshener. No water in room, had to find vending machine which were all sold out of water.
Kuerig coffee machines are cheap and have yucky coffee, its inexpensive to upgrade to Nespresso and such a higher quality.
Hotel overall seemed a bit outdated, not historical and classy.

Great location and a comfortable stay if you have a limited time in the city.
The location was amazing and you could not pick a better spot being right on Elgin Street with restaurants and bars etc! You're just a few steps away from Parliament and other major landmarks.
I just thought that the hotel itself was lacklustre. It markets itself as elegance and refinement but I didn't really feel that way. The rooms and amenities felt quite outdated and not in a regal kind of way. I found the price quite steep given the look and feel of the hotel.
