Hostel The Yellow, Rome

Great location, staff was super nice and helpful, it felt safe

I saw a few bugs in my room :'(

Hostel is warm and welcoming. Staff are lovely!, kitchen is a bonus. Dorms are large have a lot of space to move around. Close to Roma termini

You can hear the doors slam in the corridor all night long and hear what’s going on outside the streets

Not the cheapest option for sure, but it was a great experience anyways

It was a great hostal, staff where really great and the bar was perfect! Also the breakfast options where plenty and with a lot of variety thank you very much.

Breakfast was very good. Rooms are well sound-isolated. Friendly staff. Convenient location.

A kettle in the room for making tea would be a nice addition.

- Location is 6 mins walk from roma termini - there is conad 4 mins away - i was in building E, 4 beds dorm room, i didn't hear any of the noise at the bar - clean n organised - free pasta at 8 - elevator

- wanted to check in 30 mins earlier, was refused - no food or drinks inside the rooms ( i did eat n drink ) u can't just prevent me ( they have 50 usd fine if you get caught drinking alcohol or eating inside the rooms ) - people complain about the bar noise in the same building the bar is - no shelves near the beds, so u have to keep ur daily stuff ( wallet,. phone...etc in the locker if ot fits) - don't forget the code

The location is excellent, super close to the Roma Termini Station as well as Metro and Bus Stops. The lockers and the safety box are also really helpful and useful, it felt very safe. The staff are also kind and helpful. They helped me when I had some trouble checking in. Overall a great stay and amazing experience.

This is just compared to the YellowSquare Florence, the bed weren’t as comfortable, it was a little pushed down in the middle. The toilet was a little broken but not a big problem. Also, and this is just me, in Florence they had muslim showers in toilets which was super helpful for diverse travelers.

Near to Termini station

Little bit away from main tourist attraction and toilets are very small.

The location is incredible and the facility of entertainment amenities are outstanding.

The hostel is very convenient in terms of facilities, social scene, and amenities - they've obviously been doing this for a while and have thought of a lot of things people might need.

I stayed in a 6 person room and while it was nice to have bathrooms and showers in the room, they didn't seem that clean or in good shape, showing obvious wear and tear. For example, our shower head holder was not working anymore and was strung up with a string.

Nice located hostel, with súper kind receptionists and people to help you, activities to integrate the guests and I got an upgrade to a private room :)

It was conveniently located close to where I needed to be. It was also very clean which is not always the case with a hostel.

Not the most comfortable bed.

The location and the staff were excellent. They schedule a lot of activities for people to enjoy their stay and meet one another. They provide a fully equipped kitchen and also keep your luggage even after you checkout. Female only room is definitely worth the money.

The fact that the buildings are old, sound isolation practically doesn’t exist; I could hear the neighboring rooms’ toilet flush. The bunks and closets are made of metal, so they make a lot of noise as well.

It was clean and comfortable with great facilities.

The luggage lockers in the room are a bit small.

It is not fault of the hotel, but neibours were realy noisy at night and in the early morning.

The atmosphere was great and people really friendly! Met some lovely people at the Yellow Bar and the hostel organised really cool activities and themed evenings which was fun - LOVED karaoke. Also the location could not be better! Really close to all transport links and most attractions are a short walk away.

The rooms are a bit outdated, could definitely use refreshing, particularly the bathroom and getting the air conditioning serviced/fixed as it broke in my room on the 2nd night. Also beds/pillows are quite hard.
