The hotel’s front desk is brilliant! My daughter lost her MacBook in the room in the thanksgiving holiday. When she called the phone of the front desk, the operator was so patient and professional. He solved this problem smoothly, and my daughter received her MacBook happily. Thank you so much!

Annual Thanksgiving stay
Location is excellent, we like to walk. It’s very quiet at the end of the street. I love the fireplace, it’s close to everything we need, including Trader Joe’s. We also take the ferry everywhere or Uber, we don’t bother with a car

The staff is incredibly kind and they even mailed me something I left behind. The hotel was very comfortable.
Such a beautiful hotel. So many aesthetic details that we loved. The location was beautiful. We walked everywhere from there.

Overall -- great! Perfect location for bay watching and biking in areas.
Beautiful view from our room. Windows needed exterior cleaning. Very attractive comfortable room. Door staff was very courteous and attentive. Reception staff was average to indifferent. Very well done renovation of the building. Nautical theme was tasteful and attractive. Nice to have bike rental close-by, and the National Park Visitor's Center in the building.

Lots of motorcycles and classic cars congregate on Jefferson Street near hotel, Evenings get a bit noisy from cruisers up and down the street in front of hotel.

The location was excellent with all the attractions offered by the wharf right out the door.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
I will definitely stay there again.
I wish I had paid for a bay view room. The street outside our window was not attractive but the windows were good so noise wasn’t a problem.

Superb San Francisco hotel
Extremely well decorated room with very comfortable beds. Cleanliness over the whole hotel was superb and helpful staff. Location was perfect. Would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay and would book again if in San Francisco
Great Location. Nice big room with comfortable bed. Friendly helpful staff in bar/restaurant and good food.
Would have liked a composite daily tariff rate option that inc breakfast, which was a little pricey, although the hotel did give 15$ a day food discount per room which helped.

No complaints. If I HAD to pick something to complain about, the walls were a little thin so we could hear the people next door when they were talking. Aside from that there is nothing we didn’t like.

Totally hit everything on my list of to do in SFO collected shells on Muir beach enjoyed the tours.
Assessable to everything required, Very clean comfortable, the bed was also comfortable.

An authentic trip back in time.
The Argonaut is a surprising, authentic gem located just at the upper end of touristy Fisherman’s wharf. Huge wooden beams, plank floors, carved bed headstands make you feel a bit back in time. The attached restaurant is wonderful, ate there three times. There’s a nautical museum inside as well! Great location if you like to run, you’re 3.5 miles away from the Golden Gate Bridge and the path there is epic. Solid gym with lots of weights. Pillows are super comfy. Fireplace in lobby. A great weekend getaway if you want to extend a business trip to SF.
It’s not the cheapest stay in town, but that’s not the point here.
