the property is amazing, wonderful stay over all.

Some of the male staff where extremely rude. One man followed me into the hotel to advise I wasn’t allowed to be there because I wasn’t a guest (which I was) he based this solely on appearance which is extremely disappointing consider the money I spend to be there over my three day stay.

An absolutely exceptional hotel experience. Expensive obviously but an experience of a lifetime to say " I stayed at Raffles hotel". The courtyard room was luxurious in design and fixture. Breakfast was cooked to order and served by excellent waiting staff. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Complimentary drinks and chocolate in mini bars. Welcoming bottle of wine and box of chocolates in room on arrival. Everything you could think of is supplied in the room. Bed's are comfortable and the size of the bedroom and bathroom were well large. The room even had its own lounge are with separate TV. Both TVs in the suite were controlled by iPads which included Access to every international newspaper available. Two complimentary Singapore slings delivered with a smile. Priority entry to the famous long bar allows you to jump the long tourist queue that builds up for the famous bar. Lots of history to discover in the hotel with interesting original artefacts from a bygone era. Interesting hallway with photos of all the famous people who have stayed at the hotel in times past. The first holiday where we spent the whole of the first day in the hotel. Terrific experience.

What did I not like...... absolutely nothing! The only negative I would be willing to submit is the fact that the building that was once Raffles Billiard room has been reinvented into a more modern looking restaurant serving Italian food. A non descript looking room with little character and no Billiard table. To me this room/restaurant looked out of place and not in keeping with the tradition of the hotel.

This is without a doubt the best hotel I've ever stayed in. We stayed in the Lady Mountbatten suite for one night on our way to Bali on our honeymoon. The room was massive, the facilities fantastic and the staff incredible! We used the gym, the pool, drank at the long bar, and ate dinner in the Tiffin room. I wish I lived in this hotel.

Raffles Singapore is simply the best hotel in the world. The staff, decor, history, the amazing attentiveness of service and everyone so so friendly. The hotel is just perfect and the staff are the best in the business!

The room weas beautiful - colonial style but not too dated, and the high tech iPad that controlled all the room features was clever and convenient. Butler service made you feel very special. Breakfast was fresh, varied and delicious.

It felt quite busy at times as there are so many tourists walking through the hotel.

We were welcomed like royalty to the hotel. The entire staff was so helpful getting us check-ed in and in our room. The room was so beautiful, impeccable but somehow homey. The best/sheets were so good we ended up buying the brand while there. End to end, perfection

Little confusing figuring out the elevators

It is very unique and it's not only a hotel but there's a history behind it which made it unique from other hotels. It was a wonderful experienced and perfect!

Excellent location, building, accomodation and staff

Treated like we were trying to break in, until Reception asked if we were residents, everything fine once we checked in. Maybe next time I should arrive wearing a linen suit and panama hat 😉

Our room was large and beautiful with incredible bathroom. Big four poster bed, lots or closets. Breakfast, included in our room rate, massive and delicious buffet selection plus could order off the menu Good cappuccino. We ate so much for breakfast that we never needed lunch. Loved the hotel, definitely 5 or 6star.

It was expensive especially for dinner or drinks. Pool and gym are a bit hidden away.

Stunning and lived up to expectation.

Building site including a drill in the middle of the night. This was in breach of an .operating licence by a third party and stopped when reported. I was refunded the cost of that night’s stay without request. Lack of communication. The personal touch in all the Grande Dames is how they built their reputation. A novice”butler “ is not the answer and I do not need computers to open curtains, turn on lights , nor provide advice I can get on the internet. Advice to book in house restaurants at the time of booking, months beforehand would have saved disappointment

the new management needs to be more careful about raffles traditional service understanding and sytle . now the staff is very ordinary and has lack of raffles style their way of service , communication ..the management has to review what is the aim ? being an ordinary 5 star hotel or keep going on the raffles style !

attention to detail, professional staff memorable experience

there is very little to dislike about the whole experience but I have made a few comments below. huge room with wonderful comfort and everything anyone would need. lovely helpful staff . lots of options of places to eat. swimming pool was lovely. good room service.

the place is like a rabbit warren and took us 2 days to work out where to go. why not give visitors an orientation map explaining how to get about. the totally computerized lighting system in the bedroom meant it proved very complicated to turn individual lights on or off and there was no guide to help. also walking around the flooring is very dark wood. edging strips on the stairs would make it safer
