Surrounding a lovely old theatre, with several in house options for dining and drinks. The included breakfast was exceptional. Front desk staff were welcoming and helpful.

The wifi signal was on the weak side.

*The location is an easy 15 min. walk into the center - little less to the Metro Station. *The room (a standard one) small but absolutely functional and well fitted. The layout different and awesome. *Nice restaurants and bars with excellent food. *The breakfast was truly great with a huge buffet and eggs/hot dishes cooked to your liking on the spot. *The service was excellent - especially the staff in the reception. *The ambiance of the entire place is awesome. The design art nouveau. *We enjoyed especially being able to sit outdoors to dine and wine.

*You might experience a bit of noise from the bars/restaurants as the place seems to be very well visited and there is a theater-like venue next to the bar... *The Hotel offers a vallet garage service but at an outragious price. However, we did find an open parking-lot where you could park for more than 24 hrs. and at a rate of SEK 160 per day/night. It was next to the München Bryggeri on the Söder Mälarstrand a 14 minutes stroll from the hotel (via a small stairway). Worked fine for us!

Excellent breakfast: healthy, fresh, great variety of delicious food. Location was great. we could walk to several places we visited. Staff was extremity friendly and helpful. Very informative and guided us many times to make good choices.

It’s clean, quirky and a happy place to be. The restaurant is great for dinner and even better for breakfast (even with a baby in tow). Great location with ease of transport. Only place to stay in Stockhol!

Beautiful hotel! 24 hr coffee and really nice breakfast.

Stairs to our room did not have a railing, which made it difficult for my mother to climb (set of 3 stairs on floor 2)

The staff were exceptionally welcoming and provided great information to make the best use of our time in Stockholm. The decor was funky, differing from the usual motel feeling.

Excellent service by friendly staff. Bath facility was perfect with heated floor.

Heated bathroom floor was a bit of a waste. Would have rated more highly if the hotel had more thought about the environment.

Really loved our short stay at Rival. - Great location in Sodermalm - The staff on the front desk were standout - so friendly, and felt like nothing was too much trouble. - Big, spacious and airy room with a nice little balcony - Really good breakfast, and runs until 12 on the weekend - Downstairs bar is buzzy on the weekend

Not much, overall. - Service at breakfast could be a bit sharper. We arrived later, and found it quite hard to get anyone's attention to make an order

Wonderful Hotel, excellent location at a 15 min walking distance from the old town. Amazing and excellent breakfast buffet. Rooms are comfy and welle equiped, staff is kind and helfpul.

Beautiful and atmospheric hotel in a very nice location, with friendly staff and nice breakfast. Staying at Hotel Rival definitely enriched our experience in Stockholm.

Room was pretty but small and completely flooded by light at 5 am despite keeping curtains closed. A bit pricey overall but I guess that could be said about Stockholm in general...

I loved the location. Within 30 minute walk to lots of attractions. But in a great neighborhood worth exploring. The staff very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant. Loved our room and enjoyed e presso/ tea & cookies offered 24/7 on our floors landing

Location was great, a quiet little neighbourhood but still close to everything. Room was big enough for both of us and our suitcases, beds were the most comfortable hotel beds ever. Breakfast was ok but in a city full of bakeries, not needed. Staff was kind and helpful every time!

One of the days our room wasn't cleaned which we didn't like.
