problems with lifts

Jacuzzi/hot tub didn’t exist false advertising. Pool cold. View restricted not as full on for value of room.

The rooms were small but functional. we did not get rooms together or on the same floor so that was disappointing.

Eftpos wasn’t working at the time of check-in so I was unable to pay for the room. I returned the next morning to pay but there was a very large queue of people checking in. So I had to leave to make a booking. I returned the next evening to pay and felt like I was being looked down on. Some other extra charge was added as it was more then what was requested at check-in, which I’d like to follow up on. A bit ouch considering it wasn’t my doing. And then I realise they needed my room card back to re-activate (assuming they had blocked it to now allow us entry to the room). I felt very shamed. I was able to and ready to pay at check in and in the end felt like they thought I was dodgy. I have stayed here before and want to come yearly or more. This experience wasn’t as good as last year with a few other factors, so I may re-consider.

Views were nothing special however there were upgrade options if we wanted. Room quiet and bed + pillows were great. Five minute walk from Circular Quay. Opera House or The Rock were ten minute walks either side of the quay.

Close to Harbour - easy quick walk with in 2 minutes to train and ferry and circular key. 10-12 min walk to Opera house Clean and comfortable. Bed was comfy and king pillows Sylvester’s resturant in side the hotel was great dinning and service. Check in was quick and easy

Breakfast was expensive @$48 extra PN or pay per day usage. There is to be fair a cafe option at another stop in the hotel but that takes a long time for them to serve a coffee let alone a breakfast. No coffee machine in room ( for price of hotel stay per night this should be in the room) only had a kettle and instant coffee any cheap old hotel room has that yuk. Strange hanging light with huge shade dangles down so low in front of the full length mirror you can only see your midriff and legs and if you get to close crash into it , I’m 5’6 and banged my face on it so if you taller than I then good luck seeing your yourself in it!! Weird place for a light to hang low…
