Hotel QT, Sydney

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel was beautiful, and the amenities were great

Room was super dark. Impossible to get ready/put makeup on!

Location, staff and room size

Attention to detail- ironing board didn’t work. Tea wasn’t topped up with daily service, floor mat in the bathroom was not provided on the first night and the open shower was horrible so there was water all over everything including the toilet. Room service only included on set of cutlery… the little things especially with housekeeping and room service were missed and brought down the experience significantly.

The location is fabulous - right in the heart of the city with lots of coffee shops and restaurants nearby, and walking distance to major sites - the Rocks, Museum of Contemporary Art, the wharf and the Opera House. The room was good sized and comfortable, and the bathroom was wonderful...very large with great water pressure and hot water for the shower. The staff was exemplary - very knowledgeable about the area, and provided great help for navigating the area.

The room was not as clean as I would have liked and am used to.

QT was full of hidden gems to explore and see. Fun for both the adults and kids in our group.

Good location and fancy design

Unable to flush the toilet in the midnight and report to the staff when I checkout at the reception and she told me should report straight away. I’m not be bothering to tell them in the midnight even they offer a new room for me or ask someone to fix it during the midnight 😅

Rooms were good but very dark.

The location of this hotel is optimal. Easy access to tram and train. Close proximity to Pitt Street Mall and Sydney Tower. Short stroll to Darling Harbour and King Street Wharf. The room I stayed in was quite large for the city. Very funky and upbeat decor. Staff were lovely.

Quietest hotel room I've ever been in, on 8th floor. Good location close to transport and shopping. Very helpful, courteous staff. Spacious room and bath.

The shower floor had no barrier to contain water and was very slippery. There was only about a 14 inch wide glass wall instead if a door. So your shower time was spent trying not to fall or spray water all over bath. The soaking tub was short and deep, with a bench. I found it awkward and am only 5'1". Decor is dark and glamorous. Black furniture often dusty. Poor lighting. Lacking in sit-down restaurants nearby.

Only minor thing is the glass bathroom door which, if used during the night, wakes up your partner when the light is turned on.

Spacious bathroom and room overall was wonderful, and we enjoyed having free movies available. We loved that it was so quiet in the room, with no noise from other guests or outside. The eclectic decor and general vibe of the hotel spaces was fun! All the staff we interacted with were friendly, professional, and fun.

It was a bit of a walk from the carpark to the hotel with our bags. The bar downstairs shut at 10pm which seemed a little early.

Beautifully furbished, gorgeous decor, quirky bathroom design that could be opened to the room. Amazing array of mini bar options (but way too expensive to enjoy). Beds were very comfortable. Staff were professional and welcoming. So much to look at in the restaurant downstairs and foyer. Conveniently located close to everything. Loved our stay.

Pillows were soft but a bit too high, especially for the kids. A bit too dimly lit in places. But that's just being picky.

Was really easy to get around the building and we especially liked that our side of the building had its own exit so we didn’t have to go back through the whole building to leave.

We found the room quite dark and we needed all lights on in the room but we understood that was the vibe

Absolutely beautiful building, with amazingly decorated rooms that were well sized. Extremely comfortable beds, bathrooms had tonnes of bench space and excellent options from the minibar. Room service was fast and the cocktails were great. The bar on the ground level was incredible - dark, moody, with an extensive menu and two of the best cocktails I’ve ever had.
