luxurious accommodation with a great corner room and view of the CN tower, room service was quick. We had brunch at the lobby lounge with vegan options it was divine, but very pricey! The best luxury staycation destination in toronto! Location is ideal and walking distance to most restaurants and bars

Dean the concierge was so helpful, warm, and made us feel at home. really love that guy. the room was elegant and attention to detail was wonderful, the pool was very fun, and clean. defiantly going to stray here again.

Room was how it was depicted on the website. Location was central and distance to restaurants, grocery/convenience stores, and clubs were perfect. Facilities in the hotel were clean and had quality equipment. All employees showed great attitude and hospitable service!

Hotel key cards were white/blank with no room # or brand identity. Breakfast food was simple and good, however, a bit pricey and breakfast credit was never applied on checkout.

Booked a staycation to celebrate my birthday. I’ve stayed at Shangri-la a few times and my experience has been amazing ! the staff are incredibly friendly and the location is absolutely breathtaking. From valet parking to in house keeping they were very thorough about everything. I ended up extending my stay for one night and they were very accommodating. I definitely will be back soon !!

Every inch of the hotel is beautiful.

It was beautiful inside and out. Staff was outstanding :) food was delicious!!! Last minute stay and totally worth it !

They forgot to bring up a couple items requested but that was ok.

Room cleanliness and comfort were 5 star

Reception and restaurant staff service was subpar for a 5 star property. Disappointed with our dinner at Bosk (salades looked premade), wine bottles was brought cold to the table, but breakfast was good. I prefer the Ritz Carlton over your property.

The hotel scheduled maintenance that shut off all power from midnight until 6am which meant we had to pack, shower and dress by light of the emergency flashlight. There was no notification of this in advance other than a discreet note left on the desk of our room at turndown service, mere hours before said power outage. Service at the restaurant was incredibly slow and the food was poor. They offered fresh squeezed juice and poured tropicana into glasses. There was a lot of dust in the room. Everything was just “ok” and mediocre. Not worth what we paid.

Breakfast was very bad , staff were rude We were asked to wait for a table while the restaurant had 50% occupancy only

The reception staff were rude , I was charged 1.5 x times the room rate , it was deducted not held from my account for the whole 8 days 970$ was deducted till now it hasn't been returned ,

Felt like the lobby staff/ concierge was looking at me and my friends like weren’t guests at the hotel? They asked us every time if we have a room key?! As south Asian females we Felt somewhat racially profiled. Constantly getting stares at by the lobby staff and we weren’t even bringing any attention to us or talking loud. In short , I don’t think I will be staying here again due to the staff constantly staring at us and being a part of a minority group I didn’t feel comfortable which was kind of disappointing. Other than that- the hotel is beautiful and very luxurious.

Unable to use a lot of the hotel facilities due to TIFF film festival, a lot of areas were closed off to guests, obstructed from moving around hotel and questioned often by security guards as we weren’t there for the film festival. Struggled to get a table even to get a cocktail to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Very disappointing experience compared to stay at the london branch in the shard.

The hotel is a 5 star and is such. Elegant looking and very clean.

The service. Customer service was horrible. Just horrible. They act like you should be lucky staying there and have an attitude like your staying at the Shangri-La and you should be privileged. We had an issue with a sofa bed that wasn't working and they transferred us to another room but it took them over an hour to do it. If was 1030 at night and our kids were sleepy. And the other room was literally next door. So they knew it was available they just took their time to do the switch. They said they were busy but how can you be that busy at 1030 at night. Plus I went down and saw that there were 3 staff on staff on duty and only one was attending to someone. I asked for the manager 3 times and he/ she never came up to talk to me. It's like they thought they'll just let it pass. Have stayed here several times in the past but won't again. There are similar better options that provide excellent customer service and 5 star facilities. Like the Ritz-Carlton as an example. Very very disappointing and unexpected experience for a 5 star hotel.

The valet damaged our rental car. We have photos of the car being dropped off to the valet undamaged and then a full walkaround video of the car when it was handed back. We didn't notice at the time but there was some small damage. Despite the time stamped photographic and video evidence the hotel refuses to assume responsibilty. We will never stay at a Shangri La Hotel again. We ended up having to pay for the car damage to the rental owner out of our own pockets. AVOID.

I liked the location and cleanliness of the hotel—friendly staff upon check-in. The housekeeping staff were pleasant and prompt as well.

The room was not dark enough during the night - frosted glass from the bathroom had minimal/natural light that created too much light for our desired likeness.

Staff location ease of check in and check out amenities in the room, especially temperature control teas Good views of the city Koi fish tank on the ground floor. Gym/ pool area.

Please fix the in-room dinning service, our breakfast was pretty terrible definitely not worth it especially when there are better restaurants just down the road. Firstly our order was mixing couple of items, and was not fresh. It was mediocre for Shangri-la standards. Bath tub wasn't cleaned properly, found some rose petals in the over flow plate which ruined my experience >_<
