Hotel Le Soleil, Vancouver

The room was lovely, the hotel was beautiful, the restaurant 'Allouette' attached to the hotel was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had, and Le Soleil staff so friendly and helpful. We were on a girls night and we had a great time! Thank you!

If the Wifi code could be put in the room somewhere, that would be wonderful. We checked in electronically so we didn't have a roomkey envelope which usually has the Wifi password on it. We called down to the lobby several times with no answer, so we went down in person (not a huge deal, but a suggestion would be to be a little more attentive to the phone for your guests who have checked in).

Friendly, accommodating staff. Good location.

Everything was amazing. Small boutique hotel meant not many floors to ride. Comfy beds, excellent location and right next door to a fabulous gym/pool.

Restaurant on site was great. The separate bedroom was also nice. It is a great location.

Room seemed a little dated and showing wear but to be expected in a hotel of this age and price.

Having the sofa bed room and the bedroom in between the bathroom made it feel like a larger space. We loved that we could use the facilities of the YWCA next door also. Swimming, classes and gym equipment.

Buffet breakfast - Minor though.

Located near the sky train and easy walking to many attractions. Elegant lobby and suite. Comfortable and quiet.

The hotel had character and the decor reflected this. The staff were very efficient, friendly and willing to make our stay a super experience. They succeeded! Excellent breakfast. We enjoyed the evening meal we had in the restaurant. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. Excellent central location with all attractions within walking distance.

There’s nothing to not like.

This was our second time here. We loved the first experience. It is a wonderful place with a strong vintage French theme; the beds are super comfortable, the tools a spacious, the food is enjoyable and the majority of the staff and incredible lovely. Wanita is a really gem and we really appreciated her making the ‘magic happen’.

Both hostesses at restaurant did not want serve us 1 hour before the restaurant closed and contined to be rude to us after the lovely Wanita seated us and took care of us. We had amazing food and left before other guests who were in the restaurant so I'm not sure what the point was of the unnecessary rudeness was but it definitely ruined the experience.

The breakfast was way to big and the staff were happy to adjust to a smaller size for me However the menu was unsuitable for my teenage granddaughter

Downtown location. Heart of the city.

Service, specially room service is short staffed. Requested room service in the front desk as well as the room service maid on the floor, did not happen. Room service happens only during strict few hours in the morning.

two blocks from main shopping district and bus station and Canada line train that runs to the airport, extra large room with lounge and second TV, well appointed , very comfortable beds, staff extremely helpful when my wife was not well.

cheaper than Hyatt , not the cheapest but very convenient

Great location! Very clean, comfortable room and the whole place smells soo good! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the price :)

Enjoyed the cosy atmosphere.

I was surprised and disappointed to get a room without a walk-in shower but was pleased to be given a room change.

The staff service was top notch. It was my 4th anniversary and they made sure to make it as smooth as possible and went above and beyond

Beautiful, clean and cozy

It was a little confusing how the valet parking worked and that they wouldn’t take our vehicle until after we checked in. Also our room wasn’t ready even though we arrived after 4 - we waited for 40 minutes in the lobby with all our stuff only to find out it had been ready for a while (ie they watched us sit there and didn’t tell us our room was ready until we asked because other people were getting checked in). So kind of a bummer start to our stay but the rest was good.

Location is awesome; and the decor is great.

We booked through booking.com and wasn't told about extra 20% fees and taxes until after the booking and confirmation was made.

Good location, ran out of time to use the linked leisure facility next door but was great to have the option :).
