Wonderful stay in a beautiful hotel.
Beautiful location on the Grand Canal, there is nothing better than having your breakfast and watching the world go by here. Stunning Venetian decor and overall friendly and attentive staff.

The hotel was truly fabulous. It exceeded every single expectation and we were totally blown away.
The concierge was outstanding.

Beautiful palace in Venice with nice restaurants and bar.
Spectacular palace converted into a hotel.
For the price you are not getting what you'd expect. For €2200 a night, in February, I got a size of room I would be angry to pay €400 a night for anywhere else. To get a room you'd expect at €2200, you need to pay €8000 a night. So be warned if you're planning something special like a honeymoon.

Breakfast was very nice and location of the hotel was great and very convenient as everything was at short distance (museums/galleries/attractions)!!! The room had a perfect size while the staff were very attentive and offered flowers for my wife's birthday and also a room upgrade! Would love to go back!!

Perfect Valentines weekend trip to a wonderful city.

An truly exceptional hotel
This is a beautiful hotel, very Venetian and traditional. We stayed in a suite and the room was exceptional, although it had no view it was a very large room and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff are very friendly and always happy to help. The bar and the terrace is stunning and the perfect place for a pre or post dinner drink (we also had lunch there as we couldn't keep away!) the location is perfect, quiet but very close to Piazza San Marco, lots of shops etc. The concierge team gave us some great recommendations and were on hand to assist before and during the stay - nothing was too much trouble.
Nothing, this hotel is truly exceptional and i cant wait to go back.

Great (but not excellent) historic hotel
Excellent location, great ambiance, great service from hotel staff, good restaurant with amazing outdoor terrace.
Restaurant servers sometime have too much of an attitude, beautiful room but poor sound insulation from the street due to sliding windows not closing hermetically, hot water is inconsistent - temperature fluctuates too much.

A marvellous hotel experience in a marvellous city - once in a lifetime!
Superb breakfast, the view onto the canal is outstanding. The location is perfect, and the staff are absolutely marvellous. This is a hotel that goes into my top 10 hotels in the world.
Perhaps we were just unlucky, but the shower in our room was a disaster. The water pressure was very weak and it was very difficult to regulate the temperature. I have long hair and washing it was a nightmare. The quality of the shower definitely did not match the rest of the hotel which was outstanding.

The staff in the location is very helpful and they are ready to help you out on restaurants recommendations or reservations or even a taxi to go some place else. They keep the rooms extremely clean and everything is some nice!!

wonderful place to stay in Venice
if you have a room with a view it is stunning. staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, the room was very clean, the terrace breakfast although very expensive, was gorgeous. food was fine but the ambiance was wonderful.
the restaurant - mediocre and overpriced for the food.

Never going back, already told to all my friends to avoid it at any cost.
The design and location
They charged me 1500 euros when I checked in although I paid my bill in advance and then the last of my checkout they charged me another 1610 euros with no reason. I STILL HAVEN’T RECEIVED THE MONEY BACK.
In addition, when I asked for a room with a canal view the woman at the desk said: THIS IS ANOTHER PRICE RANGE believing I couldn’t afford it. Although I could.

Nice hotel but wouldn’t go back
Our room was big and the bar areas, indoor and outdoor, were a nice stop.
Some of the concierges and most waiters were very condescending. It made our stay somewhat unpleasant. (this does not apply to the room service staff nor the reception.
