No where to store cloths or put suitcase. Had to work out if suitcase on floor

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and the location is very central.

Because of the location it is a challenge to find parking. The breakfast was not bad, but the selection of food was not very wide.

Location is perfect! Super close to Staatsoper, bus station, and many good cafes!

Bed is a little bit too soft to my liking. But it is personal i guess.

When we booked the rooms, we knew what we would get: We knew the room and the bathroom would be small, there wouldn't be any wardrobes, What we got: a tiny, immaculetly clean room, with a tiny and extremely clean bathroom with a super shower, a good breakfast and a perfect location. We could park our car right in front of the hotel, and as it was Christmas parking was free of charge so we did not have to use the garage. Staff was really helpful.

We knew we wouldn't get a kettle in the room, but I think it would be good the provide a kettle.

Very close to city centre, new very clean and quiet rooms.

ROOM, RECEPTION, CAFE

Very clean and comfortable. Reception staff very pleasant. We arrived early at about 10 am, asked to leave our luggage. They said they had a room available and that we could have it. That made a big difference to our day.

Nothing. We had to leave at 6.30 am, so weren't able to use any of the facilities.

Excellent location for Opera and historical center visit. Good view, comfy room.

Missing complementary water or at least a couple of glasses in the room for tap water.

Always an excellent stay. Clean and modern.

The air-conditioning didn't work and we couldn't open a window for fresh air but it wasn't the end of the world as we were out most of the day.

Excellent location. Very central. Friendly staff. Good and price worthy breakfast.

First room offered was on the ground floor and not appealing. Front desk staff changed us into another - much nicer - room.

Good central location walking distance to most sights.

Female receptionist was not happy when I requested a change of room. We just booked in, then went to our room on 6th floor only to realise the room is directly opposite the elevator. Explained we didn't want the room due to its location and possible noise from elevator and people going in and out of it. She did move us to another room but kept going on about all the rooms are the same. We tried to say it wasn't the room but the location opposite the elevator but she did not listen. Also went to the bar on Friday evening it was busy , but noticed three staff, but only one person behind the bar ?? Was told when we ordered a beer and a Bailey's it would take ten minutes to get, poor service

No bottled water in the room. It would have been nciie to have a nespresso type machine too. Althoough there was a very good gin bar it was not possible to charge to the room which would have been good.

- Location is good, one block from the Opera House and Karlstad metro station. - Impressive lobby - Breakfast was tasty. - Bed was comfortable.. - Good selection of English speaking news channels including CNN and BBC.

- No safe in the room. - would have been nice to have hand sanitizer in the breakfast room too (there is a container in each elevator) - Rooms are really small. Difficult with 2 two large suitcases and 2 carryon bags. Would have been nice to have had at least one proper luggage rack. Instead we had to use the writing table, an ottoman, and a chair for all our luggage.

Breakfast ok. Need more space for people to sit and est /have a drink.

No place to sit in the lobby- always totally full.

This hotel is in the city centre, the WSO only about 200 m from it.

The location was fantastic and easy to get anywhere. The front desk was helpful and accommodating of an early check-in. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean.

Rooms were a bit small, and there are no triples, so you need to book two.
