Lovely small hotel in a superb location.

Great location, nice rooftop bar but friendlier options exist.
Stayed here for work. Located on a charming and reasonably quiet street in Georgetown. Good location. Nice rooftop bar.
Staff was not especially friendly at check in or check out. No breakfast options at all except some "pump" coffee in a carafe. As much as we paid, would have expected at least some pastries.

Comfortable and convenient
Location. I was there to visit Georgetown University so the location was ideal.
Room cleaning was incomplete. A bag of trash was left in the bathroom and at the minibar the bottles of water and teabags were not replaced.

the bed was comfortable and the sofa bed was actually comfortable! it was memory foam and the most comfortable sofa bed I’ve ever seen!

hotel was located within easy walking distance of restaurants and you can easily walk to the sights of Washington in about 30 minutes.

Nice place, friendly staff for a quick trip.
The room was nice with a sitting area that had a pull out sofa bed for our daughter. we also enjoyed some drinks and appetizers at The Alex.
We were farther away from our sightseeing destinations than anticipated. it was an Uber ride to get anywhere which was fine except during rush hour.

Staff are kind. Several restaurants around the hotel, which is a good thing.
the location is 15 minutes walk from the nearest Metro station. There are couple of Parking garage but the parking fair are heart-ache. Glass bottle refilled water smell heavy like tape water.

Friendly staff and great location!
Excellent location, staff was wonderful, engaging and there to help. Room was spacious and comfortable. If you want to spend time in Georgetown, the location is fantastic (and easy to get to other locations in DC).
Hate to say anything because the staff was so kind, but we had 3 rooms and 2 out of 3 were not properly cleaned. One of the walls was covered in dust and some of the furniture lamps were dusty. The bedding was clean and fresh and bed was very comfortable. But a couple things were overlooked. Also, the rooftop nightclub was loud and played techno music until 2am. It permeated the rooms/halls and spilled out onto the streets where people were talking very loud for 20-30 minutes after the bar closed. It was surprising the hotel staff allowed the noise in front of their entrance.

Lovely boutique hotel in a fantastic location.
Great location, nice concept for small hotel with restaurant and bar. Valet parking made it very convenient.
I was disappointed that the Alex was closed for a private event, the rooftop was VERY limited- couldn’t even get Irish coffee b/c they don’t have hot coffee. The street noise and other guests who very rudely took their party to the hallways was disappointing but not the hotel’s fault, just wish they were more concerned with ensuring the environment was pleasant for everyone.

Great location, Easy to get around town
Location was great, central Georgetown but on a side street with less noise. Easy walk to bus stops, restaurants, stores.
Comfortable bed, nice shower. Check-in couldn't have been any faster. Having large bottle of water provided, and refilled when empty, was nice.
Fitness room wasn't available.

Very Charming.
The charm is like none. It’s extremely well decorated and staffed w/great people.
My room was very hot. We were in the higher floor (6th). The staff offered another room but I declined. Instead a fan was delivered. W/that being said, we will w de turn. The staff and rooftop were amazing.
