Unique design in a former Christian Science church, with several nods to the building's original purpose in the framed hymnal sheet and pews. Comfortable. Great location

Breakfast. Room service, Food was cold and tasteless. Coffee was tasteless. Ended up paying for what we didn;t eat and then walked to The Diner for breakfast which was great!

The room and furnishings were great. I could have hung out there all day. The facilities are a bit odd. The main room is like a daycare center for twenty-somethings and just kind of annoying. I wonder if the hotel would not do better to operate a bit more as a hotel and less as a hangout.

So many corners cut on making it a great experience for food or room services. What they offer is OK, but just pricey and minimalist. A thermos of coffee is literally a thermos, but not a like a working man would pack, but one the size you'd pack soup in a kid's lunch box.

It was a tad noisy from the hallways at night with the doors slamming. Surprisingly no street noise - was very quiet!

Gorgeous place, both my room and the surroundings. The bar was lovely and the gym was huge with a ton of equipment in good condition. The neighborhood is excellent for food and dining: there are a ton of good places just around the corner.

I would stay here again if I was visiting for pleasure but I wouldn't come back here for business. Basically, if you're trying to get downtown quickly this is not a great location. I just assumed it would be by a metro stop, but it isn't. I felt a bit irresponsible in choosing this place as it takes as long to walk downtown as it would be to take the metro (about 30 minutes) and I ended up being pretty late for some work meetings I needed to get to downtown. Learn from my experience: don't bother taking a DC bike share bike downtown as you won't be able to find an available dock! Also for a hotel that is clearly dedicated to young, hip people and being environmentally conscious, it was odd that their restaurant didn't have a single non-meat entrée. Fortunately there are tons of great restaurants nearby, but it seemed like an obvious miss in hospitality.

Rowdy rooms around us partied until 5am, someone from another room had to go and bang on their door to make them be quiet. Would have expected the hotel to take care of it

Promised more than were able to deliver on. Wi-Fi wouldn’t connect. Front desk not responsive. Shower flooded the floor. Just a lot of little issues that were less than wonderful.

This is my local DC neighborhood hotel. I want to support it all I can, but the atmosphere at the Line has plummeted since the pandemic. Its vibrant Great Gatsby vibe has disappeared and it has a flat WeWork vibe with people on laptops in the post-pandemic era. The restaurant which was the dynamic heart and soul of the hotel barely functioned during the evenings... there were wifi outages... As much as I love it, I would have a hard time recommending it to others wholeheartedly given the glitches and missing soul... I hope management do something to bring it back to former glory.

The room size was good. The bathroom including the shower was great. Room was cleaned daily. Room service was nice. Location was good. I felt safe here.

The bed was very hard and when I called down to guest services to get an extra duvet and pillows and additional towels I mentioned that the bed was very hard (beyond firm) the lady read me the riot act for saying anything about the bed because “wow we only ever hear great things about the beds, no one has ever complained about them” made me feel real bad for wanting to be comfortable.
